You can be a better mum to them if you live in the present rather than beating yourself up for past mistakes. You are the one who is there, taking care of them, not their fathers. Children want their mums to be happy, not perfect.

i see him daily,mostly in tescos where he works,and his new girlfriend does too,so i now feel ganged up on,and have refused to go near her.
