Im suffering with really bad anxiety attacks, going from one or two a day to several and feel constantly agitated and on edge. Havent slept and feel exhausted is there any service that can help me over this weekend? I feel i need some medication or something to help me, if anyone could advise i would really appreciate it, thank you.

No advice im afraid as im in the same boat. It started about a week ago, no obvious trigger, apart from maybe drinking too much on Christmas Day but who doesn't.

It is hell. I feel like im going insane.

Im so sorry to hear that, if i get any advice or help from dr tomorrow i will come back and share it with you. There are some good hypnosis and meditation videos on youtube, although not sleep inducing for me i find them relaxing and help me escape my overthinking anxious mind for a while. Good luck and hope your symptons ease, i really feel for you, take care.

How are you doing today? I am back at work so hoping that will take my mind off things a bit.

Lexapro eases my constant anxiety and I Excercise on my rowing machine and that takes the edge off..

How did your GP appointment go OP? I'm hoping for a better nights sleep tonight, sleep deprivation is a killer for me.

Thanks for asking, the gp gave me a short prescription of sleeping pills, i took one last night and slept well. I spoke to the mental health team at the eating disorder services also and they thought what i am going through is quite normal in eating recovery. The nurse has arranged for one of their psychiarists to come tomorrow for a review, he is used to treating anxiety and will hopefully recommend a way forward. Also spoke to nurse about menopause and she
was going to find out about doing a blood test of my hormone levels.
So positive in that they took it seriously and seem willing to help.
How was your day yesterday, are you planning on going to your gp?
