Severe nervous breakdown - can you fully recover

It’s been 3months since my dp and a a sudden and severe breakdown.

is on meds , having therapy but seems to be getting worse (the Psych has tweaked meds. )

any light at end of tunnel ? Thanks!

Gosh thanks both for your posts. Really resonate. And yes I think he had the headspace. I just hope he makes it through - he’s so tormented and I can’t make it better. I do really worry for him. Obviously I keep a close eye on his frame of mind in terms of harming himself (

An update - Sadly my OH passed away from suicide.

Oh gosh, that's heartbreaking. I'm so sorry to hear this. Sending lots of love and sympathy, even though it feels hopelessly inadequate.

I'm so sorry, that's such sad news. I hope you are getting support and love.
My DH died by suicide after many years struggling with his mental health. It was devastating and I still miss him every day. But over time the grief became bearable and I'd say I have a good life now.
