Crisis team let down

So my GP referred me after a difficult conversation Friday afternoon to the crisis team. They called within an hour to try and talk me down (was sat on a car park alone in the car). After 30 minutes on the phone he agreed to call me back every hour to make sure I was still 'there' which he did for a few hours then once he was happy I was at 'home' agreed to have someone call me yesterday 7am.

That call never came, yesterday I found myself in the same if not worse situation waiting for a call and nothing!

Today....nothing. I'm at the end, I'm so detached from everything, I sit staring into space contemplating all options to end this. I'm so numb. Will they call again? Or is this it for me?

Hello OP, we are really sorry to hear you are feeling this way.

We hope you don't mind, but when these threads are flagged up to us we usually add a link to our Mental Health resources.

And, as GreenFingersWouldBeHandy has suggested above, you can also go to the Samaritans website or email them on [email protected].

Support from other Mumsnetters is great and we really hope you will be able to take some comfort from your fellow posters, but as other MNers will tell you, it's really a good idea to find the right RL help and support for you.

We also like to remind everyone that, although we're awed daily by the astonishing support our members give each other through life's trickier twists and turns, we'd always caution anyone never to give more of themselves to another poster, emotionally or financially, than they can afford to spare.
