Anyone who hates the winter thread

Is anyone like me and dreads the winter months? The dark nights, the cold, the rain, the snow and generally the pure drudgery of the winter months? I get no joy from crisp leaves, twinkly lights, hot chocolate or having to wear layers to keep the cold out.

I was diagnosed with seasonal affective disorder in 2016. I don’t take anti depressants but do use a light lamp.

Does anyone want to keep me company? I’m probably in a minority but I love wearing flip flops, light clothing, being in the garden and the long days of summer. I count down the days until the winter solstice when the days start getting longer..

Yes! The butter is spreadable, I don't have to wear socks or layers of hoodies... Bliss.

Out with the dog atm, and it's such a dopamine rush, I feel happier than I have in months.

This is when I think that living in California / Florida must be amazing (except the guns, drought, lack of footpaths, earthquakes and hurricanes). I'm sure I wouldn't be one of those people whe moans about lack of seasons.
Western Australia must be nice all year round. Southern Italy too.
