@Dalint I also am on an atypical AD (not same as yours). And like you when I come off it the issue is lack of sleep. I am in the UK and now have melantonin on prescription.

So they can prescribe it? I'm in England. Presumably the laws are the same across the UK?

It is available for over 55’s only, but a specialist could do it. You can also buy it from the US. I use Biovea. However it stopped working for me after about 6 months and is useless now.

There are AD’s that he’ll with sleep. Trazadone, Amitryptiline and Mirtazapine can all be prescribed for insomnia.

@Dalint I am in England and my GP prescribed it for sleep. I am a long way under 55.

I take 50mg of Trazodone at night for sleep. It is brilliant. Really good quality sleep. Waking up is fine too. Would recommend.
