We're so sorry you're going through such a difficult time.
We can see you're getting lots of good advice and support on this thread but we just wanted to add a few more links to organisations which may be able to give you some support in real life.
First of all, here's a link to our Mental Health resources. There are lots of organisations listed which can give you some extra support.
If you're feeling very low, you can go to the Samaritans website, or email them on [email protected], or call them, any time, on 116 123.
We can see that several other Mumsnetters have mentioned an excellent organisation called PANDAS Foundation which was set up to support families through PND & AND. We're so glad you've taken their advice and have already made contact - we know they've helped lots of MNers in the past. Just so all the information is in one place, we're adding the links here too - their webpage is here and they have a free helpline - 0808 1961 776 - available Monday – Sunday 11am-10pm.
We'd also urge you to take a look at the cry-sis website, which is a support group set up by a small group of parents who were experiencing problems with their crying and sleepless babies. They discovered how important support is and how reassuring it can be to talk to someone. Their helpline number is 08451 228 669 and their lines are open 7 days a week 9am-10pm.
So many of us have felt exactly as you do now and have come through it, so please take comfort from all the lovely MNers posting on this thread.
