Does anyone have experiences they can share about taking stimulant medication?

Psychiatrist suggested exercise, mindfulness and to consider medication.

I'm quite interested in the idea of taking something which might help me finish a task. Is that actually how it works? I am visualising a magic pill that will help me concentrate and live a life that is organised.

@Gingernaut

I can't do "standard" excercises like fitness or gym type things because I have shoulder issues.

I love tap dancing, however. it's so much fun and totally exhilarating.
In fact I love all dancing, the best is when I just put some music on and kids & I dance like some drunk uncles at a wedding.🤣
any moving about counts!

I am pretty sure I have it, having just had my university age son diagnosed. I ticked all the boxes on his assessment. However, I am late 50s and have retired early - another impulsive move. Whilst the diagnosis profile explains a lot of my life I am now happy in my skin so am just going to roll with it from here on. I have a wonderful DP, I can take on pretty much any challenge, I am never afraid and according to my kids and their mates am the coolest parent they know Grin
