Did you have side effects when you started lithium? I’ve been reading some horror stories online......

Hi there, the only side effect I had from lithium was, to start with a slight hand tremor but after 2 years that turned into the shakes and my psychiatrist said it wasn't the lithium to blame and I knew it was so came off it.

I only take olanzapine now and diazepam if needed but find them to be as helpful as a chocolate teapot!

I’ve never had tremors from lithium thankfully, but I did feel quite nauseous for a while until my body got used to them.

I’m with you on the diazepam @DiaryofWimpyMumm I need at least 10mg before I notice even a slight difference!

Oxazepam is good though, I would recommend it
