I feel so horribly anxious today that I'm really struggling.

Does anyone want a chat? I really need some company or distraction.

Exercise helps my anxiety. Enough to make you feel tired, for me it's an hour long walk (not a stroll) if DD will sit in the buggy that long.
This book was suggested on another thread. I have found it helpful.

Thank you both. I do try to get out and walk most days - dd is being really challenging right now and she doesn't want to be in the pram so it's difficult to go for long walks. I really want to lose weight and because I'm sahm im struggling to find the time. And usually we live rurally so everything is a car ride away and it gets difficult to walk anywhere buggy friendly after a while.

I love MN and other online stuff to distract me and keep my brain occupied from anxious thoughts but I do feel that reading a book or doing craft work or sudoko , which you do, is better as it leaves me with more of a sense of achievement and is ongoing so is something unstressful to occupy my mind eg planning your next craft idea, deciding on colours etc etc
