I've been depressed on and off snce my ds was born (now two) and today and yesterday I feel so dark I have phoned the doctors for the first time because I can't go on feeling like this. The receptionist laughed when I said I needed to book an appointment, said it was book on the day this week, I'm working tomorro, they r shut friday. She said whilst laughing 'is it urgent what's your problem?' . Have just hung up crying. Feel so so down am so glad I'm not working today, don't know what to do now.

Kay-only just seen this honey.

for you.

i must say, AD are nothing to feel ashamed or worried about, they are their for a reason and get help drag you out if the dark place you are in, the GP can also help you to wean off these when you are ready. it may be a bit of a shock to dp as their is a stigma attatched to them, but i'm sure he'll be fine about it when he realises that is something that you need to do to help feel yourself again.

i'm on mat leave now and have got 4 weeks till i'm due, so i'd love to meet up for a coffee if your up to it.

my email addy is j20baby@ yahoo . co . uk if you want to mail me and i'll send you my mob number.

take care x

Thanks dior, don't worry DP's reaction won't put me off, will do whatever I need to feel happy again. DS came up to me the other day and said 'don't worry mummy it's alright'.

I am going to ration myself on the computer as I'm spending too much time on it, but will try and check in regularly.

Dior - it was the way I was interacting with dp and ds that gave me the final shove into the doctors office.
Wrinklytum, would love a meet up if you still fancy it?
