{{{{Hugs}}} Nemo, sorry to hear your feeling pants hon, Debs pointed me over here. Hope things go ok with the HV tomorrow.

Hi Nemo,
Sorry to hear you are feeling crappy. You have had so much on your plate recently with everyone being ill and your nan plus only having a baby 12 weeks ago.

I don't remember you stopping and having any time for you since I've known you. Fully agree with those who have suggested some "me" time for you. I know money is always tight but sometimes you have to do it. If you are somewhere being pampered then I'm pretty sure you won't be thinking dark thoughts. If you stay close to home you can always get up and leave and go back. It's about time your DH learned how hard it is to look after your 3 even if it's just for an hour.

Sorry, sound like a right nag there. I'm another one who is there to listen if you need me.

George

how did you get on Nemo ?

penmack · 04/04/2007 15:49

hi nemo i agree with what everyone is saying about some you time.if you cant face up to going out or going away why not try just half an hour at home doing something you enjoy (reading, having a nice bath, anything) get hubby to take the kids to the park or just out for a walk. start with something little and build up. when you are unwell you need to rest sometimes and depression is no differant . you are important and need to take some time for yourself.

Hi Nemo,
Well done for talking to your DH. Hopefully he can try to make things a bit easier for you (even if it isn't that noticeable! ).
Are you getting outside in this weather? I know for me the sunshine always makes me feel a little better.
Thinking of you.

glad you feel a little better for the sun and fresh air. hope DH will be more helpful about doing stuff with the kids now he knows how you feel. and if you can get him to do some chasing with GPs/HVs/CPNs over appointmments and meds, so much the better...
