Oh dear Tyedye I sympathise with you. I oly have 2 kids but they are more than enouh for me atm. In fact I am at my wits end today with them. Are you aroudn for a chat?

Greensleeves · 25/07/2006 19:48

Tyedye, I can't imagine feeling like that and having kids to look after as well. I couldn't even look after myself when I went through my worst period. My heart goes out to you.

Sorry to hear you are still feeling so bad, Tyedye.
I am pleased that you have made an appointment to see your HV though. Hopefully she will be able to offer you the right support.xx

There are some AD's that you can take while breastfeeding. They give enough out to women with PND who are still BF. Your HV will be able to advise if she thinks they would be of use to you.
It sounds like you need something to help you atm.
Have you ever had counselling?
This may also be something your HV may suggest.

Oh wow! I didn't know you were training to be a counsellor!
You are doing really well with cutting down the drinking, I need to think about doing something about the amount I am drinking myself atm.
I am so pleased that you have made this appt to see your HV - it is a big step & one that will hopefully give you that little bit of extra help & support that you need atm. My HV has been a diamond!

Blimey, that's good going! It sounds like you will be an excellent BF counsellor!

Your HV sounds lovely, she will probably be a great source of support for you.

Will be thinking of you on Tuesday.x
