going to call samaritans they'll think I'm so crazy though

madmouse · 22/02/2012 21:45

Good idea - and they won't - they will have heard far weirder things

minceorotherwise · 22/02/2012 21:46

Good idea. They really won't. Talk it out, it will be good just to say it out loud and put it into perspective. It really will be ok.

faintpinkline · 22/02/2012 22:10

couldnt talk had to hang up memories too horrible

Glad DP is nearly home. Try and do some thing to fill in the time until he gets back. Anything, sort out your washing, ironing, wash your hair, re arrange your knicker draw. Read a book.

gothicmama · 22/02/2012 22:17

Glad he is getting closer keep breathing - picture something nice you do tomorrow maybe a favourite meal or a walk

minceorotherwise · 23/02/2012 09:14

Hope you are feeling better this morning and had a proper hug from DP

faintpinkline · 23/02/2012 12:00

Thank you

Slept so badly - nightmares, scrreaming, fell out of bed a couple of times, then finally woke about 10am to find dp took dd to school and called work to say I was sick.

now got terrible headache and feel as if I've been beaten up. Still shaking and feeling sick though have forced myself to eat boiled eggs and toast for the baby

Sound such a stupid wimp I should be at work but can't face it. I don't know how long this rubbish is going to go on.

I've got a diazipam prescription I didn't use a few weeks back feel like getting it from chemist and taking the lot but know that's stupid

OP posts:
madmouse · 23/02/2012 12:41

Tell someone that you are feeling like that Faint! Sounds like dp is taking good care of you so let him. And you're not stupid.

faintpinkline · 23/02/2012 12:43

its alright madmouse dont trust myself with meds right now prescribed or otherwise.

DD and I have been invited to her friends after school so I have to pull myself together somehow as don't want to let her down.

Thank god she'd gone to bed before all this started last night

faintpinkline · 23/02/2012 13:18

got the prescription came home planning to tke them all then flushed them down the toilet

losing it

OP posts:
madmouse · 23/02/2012 13:23

Where is your dp?

Are you alone?

You are not losing it - you've had a bad shock.

However if you had a script for diaz and you're pregnant surely something was already going on? Back to doctors?

hellymelly · 23/02/2012 13:31

faint you need some more help if you are feeling like that. Please don't let something from the past have such a huge hold on you still.Talk to your GP-you could have PTSD by the way you sound, and if you can't trust yourself around meds then that is a sign that you clearly need some extra help with this. Focus on your dcs, try and be with other people when ever possible, and get back to the doctors asap. The hospital where you are booked in for the birth may also have a mental health co-ordinator,and she/he sould also be able to help you, when is your next checkup?

faintpinkline · 23/02/2012 14:00

Managed to talk to the samaritans. It was so good just to talk and they didn't seem at all angry with me they just listened. I've just told someone whose name I don't know things I can't even tell my best friend Feel weirdly better for it though.

Going to wash my face and try a cup of tea out in the garden. I've just noticed the birds are singing, the snowdrops are out and the sun is shining. After school am taking dd to see her friends new kitten it will be good I'll have people around me

Sorry for being in such a state. I'm normally an optimist but the last 20 hours have been horrendous. I need to hang on for dd, dp and the baby.

gp's not going to be impressed I went through prescription so quickly but better down the toilet than down me. Busy tomorrow but will try to get an appointment for Monday

I've had ongoing depression Madmouse. Had a terrible headahche a few weeks back and emergency doc gave me diazapam to help me sleep. didn't trust him so didn't take them

OP posts:
madmouse · 23/02/2012 14:10

OP I think Monday is too far away. Get an emergency appt for today or fit it in tomorrow.

hellymelly · 23/02/2012 17:05

I agree with madmouse, you need to see someone sooner than Monday-try and get an appointment tomorrow even if you have to cancel your other plans.

faintpinkline · 23/02/2012 19:37

managed to get an appointment early tomorrow evening. Cancelling tomorrows plans would have been very difficult and put a lot of people out so didnt want to unless I had to. You're right Monday would have been a long time to wait

Had a nice time with dd's friends parents and cuddled gorgeous kittens :)

Still feel achy all over but at least I've stopped crying and shaking though feeling very tired

Right now I'd really like a gin and tonic but its not going to happen - only another 24 weeks of pregnancy to hold out Hmm
