I have just seen my GP, I have seen her about half a dozen times now and thought I had found a 'good 'un'.
But today she seemed very inpatient with me and did not really seem to care about what I was trying to tell her.
I got the impression she thought I was selfish.

It never takes me long to get people to hate me, but I wasn't expecting her reaction to be honest.

I doubt I will go back.

I have taken a load of Diazepams and hopefully can just go to sleep and forget about it.....

ell1 I don't think this is the right time for you to be 'independent'. There's nothing wrong with leaning on your DP in your time of need - I'd get her to go with you; can you see a different doctor?

Hello, I'm so glad to read you're OK. Although it sounds as though there are some big issues that you need to work through. It's great you have a loving partner who can support you. And then all us mumsnetters to bore you with our advice! Good luck. xxx
