Just about had enough!!

I got up this morning to find my car had been egged, after all that has gone on with Apeman and co. It was a final blow, I had to clean it off. Today some kids from next door and 2 doors up have been kicking their ball against the car, DH asked them to be careful and they said the car shouldn't be parked there! (on a driveway BTW) and now a MNetter told me that I should just let the kids play and cars are not the be all and end all.
I have enough today, it feels like I am fighting a losing battle, my kids won't wear the shorts and splints they are supposed to wear for their cerebal palsy. Dd2 keeps telling me she hates me, and Dd1 won't do as she asked and keeps screaming at me. I can't do this anymore.......

oooo that's lovely - that's the only thing I miss about having 2 boys - not getting pretty girly things like that

QueenOfQuotes · 01/09/2005 00:48

my "baby" DS1 starts Reception on Monday afternoon - can't believe it!

sparklymieow · 01/09/2005 00:50

I am lucky I have one boy and two girls, but dd2 is such a tomboy, I said to her yesterday 'do you want to wear this top (pink with flowers) or this top?? (england flag with girl and a football) She choose the football top as she always does, she doesn't wear dresses or skirts, only trousers and football tops!! lol

dd1 has only had 2 terms in reception and now she is going into yr1, I really don't think she will cope with it tho, I suppose the prove is in the pudding (as they say)

LOL - funny thing is - that if I ever talk DH round to a number 3 (not any time soon we really can't afford another ATM) then I'd rather like another boy

sparklymieow · 01/09/2005 00:54

Its strange because DS is a real boy, loves hoodies and jeans, dd1 is really girlie and loves pretty things, and dd2 is just a tomboy!! You say to her 'are you a boy or a girl??' and she just says 'no I'm meggy!!!'

OP posts:
sparklymieow · 01/09/2005 00:55

and if you say she looks pretty, she will take off the clothes and mess up her hair!!

awww bless

anyhow - I hope you're feeling a bit brighter - I know I'm pretty rubbish at the 'reasoning and sympathy' type threads - but I really must sleeeep now.

sparklymieow · 01/09/2005 00:56

I wish we got delivery slots as accurate as that sparkly, i have one delivery tomorrow and it could be any time until 6pm and one on friday which is any time from 8 to 9pm

QueenOfQuotes · 01/09/2005 00:59

sleep well

and I don't envy you having to be up that early for a delivery - I'll still be fast asleep as it's DH's turn to get up with the boys

sparklymieow · 01/09/2005 01:04

I know, I was shocked when the woman said 7-8am!! (bargain crazy, in case you are wondering) Oh well, I can always have a nap later on.....

Oi - Mrs Mieow - how you doing today??

sparklymieow · 01/09/2005 23:22

ok today, the little shites were playing knock down ginger at 9pm again. We ignored them after the 1st time.
We have cleared the loft and I have done 2 trips to the chartity shop and clothing bins.
One of the kids said hello to me when I brought my kids back from Misdee's DD2's birthday teaparty, I said hello back and smiled, maybe if I get some of them on side they will stop all this.
