Anxiety re: tantrums

DS is 2 now and i have found being a mum very difficult i love him to bits would die for him BUT sometimes i just want to run and hide away from everything :-(

now that he has hit the terrible two's i am becoming really anxious...i have pretty much stopped going out as his behaviour and tantrums just tire me out. I have had some help from HV re: tantrums but my anxiety is suddenly through the roof. Has anyone ever heard of this before? I no longer meet up with other mums as people comment on his behaviour i feel like i have no friends and its just too taxing to socialise with other people and their toddlers. I have no family around me for support and DH works away.

i have lost my point now.... i have had anxiety in the past should i go to gp and think about taking meds? I am starting to sleep an awful lot now as well.

Oh wow I used to work at County Hall too!! What dept? I still work for HCC but based at New Barnfield now.

I went to Hitchin once - when I was pregnant and we were going to Mauritius - had to get last minute jabs at the travel clinic there. But when we got there they wouldn't give them to me because I was pregnant! It did seem a very nice town.

My boss lives in Hitchin.

I didn't know New Barnfield still existed for some reason i thought that site had been shut down!! What do you do at New Barnfield? I am in the process of applying to work at HCC again but this time i want either a fixed term contract or permanent job.

I worked as a temp at County Hall in the Law Dept (i think it was either property or corporate i can't remember!) and then more recently i worked in Letchworth for CSF and i loved it loved it loved it. Yes Hitchin is lovely, as is Hertford. I did most of my Xmas Shopping in Hertford when i was working at County Hall :-)

I have a huge gripe this evening and my mood is literally slipping down the drain... i may post on AIBU :-(

yes unfortunately New Barnfield still exists but there are very few of us there now, and the building is crumbling. We are probably moving out next year as they want to turn the site into an incinerator...

i think this is an issue i was posting about before... .i have to go and spend five days with DH family and i just feel miserable about it i wish i had a bit more of a social life

i really need to get a job being a SAHM doesn't agree with me i am very social
