I am on day two.

Inspired by the accountability thread I am.going to document my progress.

I am eating the same meals today and yesterday

Roasted vegetables and tuna for lunch with chilli oil. I find the spice fills me up.

Supper is an omelette with roasted vegetables

100 calories of fruit berries or apple each day

Lots of water.

Lots of black coffee in the morning

I am feeling a bit weak.today

Trousers feel looser.

As expected, no change this week, so finishing the Fast 800 14lbs lighter. Moving onto the 5:2 (will taper in I think from 2:5 to start with) and using the suggestions from the recipe book, so hopefully will keep losing weight slowly, or at least not pile it all back on!

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

PiffleWiffleWoozle · 21/09/2021 08:48

Thanks @glomerulus and well done on your amazing losses!

I lost half a stone in week 1, now at 8.5lbs overall loss on W2D2.

Really enjoying the food, I had a banana pecan muffin for breakfast.

PiffleWiffleWoozle · 21/09/2021 08:49

Also NSV - much easier to put my socks on now there is less tummy to get past Grin

I am the same !
glomerulus · 22/09/2021 09:33

Great work @PiffleWiffleWoozle and @Babyroobs, you must both be chuffed with that!

Am enjoying the introduction of a few higher cal days, still staying low carb-ish and staying away from snacks/grazing, which were my nemesis before starting this. Weight seems to have stopped fluctuating and started moving down again, so hopeful for Monday's results.

PiffleWiffleWoozle · 25/09/2021 11:05

Thanks @glomerulus

How is everyone doing? I am 10.8lbs down now nearly the end of WK2. Starting to fit into some of my pre-lockdown jeans again (just!).

Have a big event this evening though so let’s see what the scales say by Monday!

glomerulus · 27/09/2021 20:59

Brilliant progress @PiffleWiffleWoozle! Hopefully it left you feeling good for your event.

No change here but didn't expect it - had a big family event which I allowed myself a cheat day for, enjoying my 1 stone lighter frame Grin

Going to be a bit more focused this week hopefully - still have another half a stone or so to lose before I'm done. Hope everyone is doing well.

Alittlenonsensenowandthen · 02/10/2021 08:23

Going away for a week today. Menu planned by other ppl so it's going to be interesting...hoping just to keep portions small and leave out carbs in a bid to not undo good work. Lost half a stone since last postSmile

PiffleWiffleWoozle · 04/10/2021 17:22

Well done on maintaining @glomerulus especially despite the family event!

Hope your week away goes well @Alittlenonsensenowandthen

I am just starting week four now and pretty much a whole stone down. Nearly back to pre-lockdown weight Grin though plenty more to lose after that!

LittleSF · 05/10/2021 07:47

Hey everyone, amazing to see how well people are getting on. I’m just starting week 7 and I’m 22lbs down and feeling so well. I had a weekend off as it was our wedding anniversary but didn’t do any damage thank goodness. Back on track today, I have 3lbs to lose to get to my first mini-goal which is the weight I was in March 2020 before the first lockdown. My main goal is just 11lbs away. I’ve bought both the recipe books now, still working off the app for most meals but have done a few from the books and they’re really good.

PiffleWiffleWoozle · 05/10/2021 10:46

Oh wow well done @LittleSF

Glad I’m not the only one who piled on the pounds over lockdown and well done for getting rid of the majority of yours already!

Alittlenonsensenowandthen · 12/10/2021 08:54

Back from holiday. Really interesting...I did gain a few pounds which doesn't bother me too much. Whilst I enjoyed the odd cake / biscuit, I didn't enjoy having a big meal so definitely my stomach has adjusted to smaller portions. Also I found I felt so sluggish after carbs. On coming home I've actually looked forward to my fast 800 meals more than I thought I would.

INeedtobealone · 12/10/2021 16:48

Well done everyone.

Dh are on week 6. I have lost 8 kgs, dh has lost more. We have gotten into a pattern of eating slightly more for dinner on a weekend which I think has helped us keeping going, we've found the weekends hard.

My next goal is to make it to 2 stone lost, I have about 6 kgs to lose to that goal.

We're away with friends in half term so whilst we won't be too strict hoping we won't put much on.

LittleSF · 12/10/2021 17:06

I wore a jacket today that I wouldn’t have dreamed of trying on even a month ago - really seeing the differences.

I’m still on Very Fast 800, week 8 and 24lbs down. I’m back in a healthy bmi which is great but should I be switching to 5:2? I’m still enjoying the 800 calories a day, not feeling deprived at all. Has anyone switched yet?

Alittlenonsensenowandthen · 12/10/2021 22:41

Littlesf - well done!

JackiePaper · 14/10/2021 09:32

Hello can I join please? I read the book last weekend and started Sunday so day 5 but I’m feeling rubbish and the scales haven’t moved Sad Don’t know what I’m doing wrong as no snacks no breakfast and sticking to 800 calories spread over lunch and dinner. Anyone else not seen an immediate loss? Feel like giving up but I really want it to work!

Underamour · 16/10/2021 12:47

Hi late joiner if you’ll have me! I’ve been if for a couple of years but despite averaging 1200 calories a day and 10k steps the weight isn’t shifting. In the last two days because I’ve bern sick I’ve had a pot of greek yoghurt, some tomatoes and two bites of a cinnamon roll. Instead of losing weight I look the same or bigger. I can’t eat less than the one meal a day I’ve been on so I’m trying fast 800. Really excited to be here!

Greenfairy2468 · 19/10/2021 06:29

Can I join please?

Lost 50lb last year thanks to calorie deficit and 16:8, but this year I've just been up a bit up then down a bit and not getting anywhere. Thankful I've not regained the 50lb but feel stuck.

Got lots to lose so started Fast 800 yesterday. Banging headache started last night and feeling lousy. I guess week 1 is not going to be fun...Hmm

Good luck everyone

Hello new joiners! I’m just coming up to the start of week 11 of the 12 week plan, getting ready to switch to 5:2. I’ve lost 2 stone so far, only 8lbs to go to get to my goal weight. I have never lost weight so fast before. Now the challenge is to keep it off - as i might have said before, I’m either completely in control or out of control when it come to food and desperately trying to find a balanced way of eating.

I’ve stayed on 3 meals a day and apart from my wedding anniversary and a big event last week have been off alcohol since starting in late August. That’s really been such a massive difference for me, we would have been having a glass (or more) of wine most evenings. I do look forward to having the odd glass of red but just stopping at one or two.

Have fallen off the exercise wagon this week but determined to get back on starting today - we have builders in for our new bathroom so any excuse to escape. My son wants us to bake cookies today so I’ll be doing that but he wants to decorate in horrible Halloween colours so I’m sure I can resist them.

Would love to lose the last 8lbs before the end of the 12 weeks but don’t think that’s possible. It would be great to get under 11st though, I started at 13st, goal is 10st7lb before Christmas. And not to put it all back on again over Christmas!!
