16/8 - 2021 thread

Anyone else starting afresh in the coming days? I've dabbled in 16/8 in the past but then got a tummy bug and didn't restart.

I'm now the biggest I've been in 10 years and am keen to start taking some action to make me feel healthier and to lose some weight. 👋🏻

Aside from 16/8, I'm going to be reducing my carb intake (although still eating some) and ensuring I eat more fruit and vegetables.

Hello to any others who may be keen to join. I'll be weighing weekly on a Monday and using the Zero app to track my fasts.

I'm three weeks in now, doing it every day. Sticking well to the 14/10 most days, occasionally 15/9 depending on when I have lunch. Have had some hunger pangs in the morning which is harder on my wfh days but getting through.
Non-work days & weekends are easier tbh as I'm more busy out & about & don't think about food much. Also don't drink so that helps.
Finding my clothes are slightly loser but could be wishful thinking!
DH is doing it with me but he only has a small a amount to lose compared to me.
Looking at this more of a lifestyle change than a diet.

Anyone still doing this?! 👋🏻 I'm back in the zone; as of three days ago.

I started at the weekend - last night was the first I didn't wake up with hunger pains! My main aim is to reduce bloating and peri-spread.

@feliznavidad2 I am starting this now, just shy of the new year. Are you thinking of continuing the thread/starting a new one for 2022?

@Piglet89 please go ahead, I'm 12 weeks pregnant so not fasting at the moment 😆
