I don't mean the proper road cycling that dp does.
I bought a used hybrid from ebay and it's great I've only gone 5 miles up to now with dp (he bought himself a used one from the same guy when we went to pick mine up) Dp has a proper road bike but I won't be getting into that.

There's a great cycle path that goes straight to my mum's and it's 5 mile round trip. It takes around 15 minutes to get there at the moment and would take me an hour by bus as I'd get 2. I only have to cross 2 roads and I'm there.

I've been looking at other local cycle routes so will try them out too.

lol, yes they just dont seem to hear you coming at all. Some look positively annoyed even when you do ding them, when its a cycle path too!! You can get value bells in tesco, i have one, it was very cheap and works really well!
we are going to centre parcs for dp's dads sixtieth. His mum has booked a big house and we are all going to turn up and surprise him!!

Oh I love center parcs What a lovely surprise for him

Dogs are a bane too on cycle paths but I have a dog so know you can't always get them off the path in time but I do try

bruises seem to have subsided will have another go at the weekend I really must crack this cycling business

smithagain I run by the river I find that cyclists and runners are ok but some people just hog the whole path and look aghast that we run/ cycle past shouting 'excuse me'

it is far worst at the weekend

JumpingDizzy · 19/03/2009 12:25
