I am confused- no one has been actually named.
I am doing increasing sessions from heat- so much more interesting and challenging than the app work. I did a lats and triceps on last week and my triceps were sore for days.
was going to do a short cardio today but will do I fast leg day and kill two birds with one stone.
i still feel gutted about what is probably a fuel mark 2. I do no want to do just do one upper body a week. My legs child quickly- it is my upper body that needs help!

Iron 38 and 39 here this weekend. Can’t wait for the bloody World Cup to be over and my boyfriend to start getting out of bed again at a reasonable time so he can share some of the dog walks. It’s eating into my morning other stuff time. still, a weekend is a good opportunity to fit two workouts in.

Looks like we will be getting a moving date this week. Our chain has been grumbling a lot as they’ve been ready for ages so rather than let it fall apart we are going to break the chain and move out. Our vendors are so bloody slow but really don’t give a shit about us being homeless. I’m hoping their estate agent gives them a stern talking to and they respond to our queries and we can still link it all up. Honestly, fucking boomers with loads of money, it does my head in. You’d think they’d be chomping at the bit to shift a difficult property that has been empty for five years already and has had no updates since the 70s!

Enrichetta · 05/07/2026 14:17

‘fucking boomers’……. Really, @Fibrous ?

Fibrous · 05/07/2026 15:06

Yes, I am unrepentant. I’m about to be homeless and they have been the biggest pain in the ass for the last six months.

whatwoulddexterdo · 05/07/2026 19:17

Well it’s Fuel for September
bring on the burpees! 🥵

samthebordercollie · 05/07/2026 19:42

Yes, very disappointed here, I thought it would be Fuel but still hoped it wouldn’t be. At least everyone desperate for cardio will be happy!

Anjelika · 05/07/2026 20:25

Another disappointed person here. Fuel was the one programme I really did not get on with. I shall finish off Iron Pro then probably just do it again.

BigButtons · 06/07/2026 06:10

I don’t get it. Fuel was not her most popular series at all. I think there are a lot of pissed off people. Firstly no new series for months then a series that loads hated/

Abra1t · 06/07/2026 07:35

I liked Fuel and am looking forward to the new series. But I’m a f..king boomer (aka generation jones). 😉😄 Sorry to hear your house woes, Fibrous. I’m efficient selling houses and also get frustrated by people who aren’t organised. Hope it resolves for you quickly, so stressful.

Fibrous · 06/07/2026 08:23

@Abra1t you missed the rich bit out! Fucking rich boomer. I bet when you sell houses you don’t disappear to Antigua for a month, disappear on a cruise for a month, stand up the surveyer (on the day) twice because you are having ballroom dancing lessons, and generally refuse to do anything except on your own timeline. Six months in and we haven’t had a single response to an enquiry. My buyers have had all their paperwork finished for three months now. If you can’t be bothered to do the paperwork, don’t put the house on the market! They also refuse to do anything electronically, everything has to involve a trip to the solicitors and a month delay in doing so. It took them four months to provide the deeds! I don’t know many people of my generation who would be so nonchalant about getting half a million quid - these guys just don’t seem to care in the slightest whether this house sells and they get the inheritance. I guess I should have known since it’s been empty for five years. They’re not old either, they’re in good health. Just treating their buyers like crap.

Anyway, Fuel doesn’t look in the slightest bit appealing to me so I am also disappointed.

Fibrous · 06/07/2026 08:31

I apologise to all of the boomer generation I have insulted who are not self absorbed wealthy pain in the asses. I’m having a bad month. I have no idea what to do with my 18 year old cat, I can’t put him in a cattery, and he spends 90% of the time outside. I bloody hate house buying - it’s taken us two and a half years to get this far and two failed purchases and I’m fed up with everyone!

You’re having a really tough time. I can understand the utter frustration. You need a combat workout. That’s what I did loads of a few years ago when my life was becoming too much. Imagine you’re punching people…🙂

Fibrous · 06/07/2026 09:47

Yes you’re right. My neighbour has one of those outdoor boxing bags. I think I’ll knock on and ask if I can have a go!

ItsCoolForCats · 06/07/2026 13:34

I seem to be in the minority here, but I really enjoyed YT Fuel and I had good results from it, although I am probably more focused on maintaining my cardio fitness than on building muscle. It might tempt me back to the app temporarily. Although, I would much prefer it to be 6 weeks than 10 weeks.

I agree.

BigButtons · 06/07/2026 16:54

@Fibrous I still have trauma from my house move 3 years ago- I really feel for you. We had about 5 in the chain and one of the estate agents was a useless bastard- he delayed things by months. Everyone in the chain was angry with these buyers.
i just did epic heat day two shoulders. Probably the most brutal shoulder day she has ever done- how she used 9 kg for that god only knows- I certainly didn’t 🤣Glad she chooses more sensible weights now for shoulders .

Iron day 42 for me today, upper body. It’s bloody hot here again. Looks like this is really going to be a hot summer.

Im wondering if she’s doing a Fuel program because she’s injured and can’t lift heavy?

Abra1t · 08/07/2026 10:14

I was going to do an upper body, too. But have just come in from washing the car (covered in harvest dust) and boy it’s hot. I might find a short UB instead.

Fibrous · 08/07/2026 10:32

Yeah I got mine done fairly early as the dogs wouldn't go out this morning. It does look like it's going to be roasting for the foreseeable future. Would love to just go on holiday!

ItsCoolForCats · 08/07/2026 10:58

From what I've read, this heatwave is supposed to last a bit longer than the last one, but the nights are not supposed to be as bad. So working out first thing is probably a good shout.

She lifted fairly heavy weights in the Fuel YouTube programme! Certainly no lighter than she’s done in all recent programmes.
its hot here in France but so far cooler nights than the last heatwave, although that is set to changer from Friday. The temperature in my bedroom is creeping up to 27 so sleeping not easy!
I workout at 6.30am then take my dogs out for 5 miles, it’s too hot to do a decent evening walk for them.
I’ve been doing sessions on repeat weekly, I know its boring, but I’ve noticed more muscle development and strength gains doing it that way!

samthebordercollie · 08/07/2026 15:05

Has anyone done the leg workout she posted on Monday? Am tempted to try it tomorrow instead of normal PE quad session

Fibrous · 08/07/2026 15:12

Ah okay I stand corrected on the Fuel theory then.

That leg day she recently released looked too lungey for my bunions.

AtomicBlondeRose · 08/07/2026 15:44

The 44 minute one? Yeah, I did it today, it’s four rounds of a circuit so quite adaptable weight wise. I went BW for static lunges but it was fine overall except that I was sweating like an absolute beast. Just a nice straightforward leg day tbf. I’d do it again.

I did wonder that.
