Hi, my daughter is now 3 but i still dont have any form of routine for my fitness/health. I dont need to lose weight but feel sluggish with no energy most days and feel mentally drained with having a kid and working. I really want to improve this but dont know where to start with fitting it all in. I’m 33 and work 3 days a week (shift work so mornings, evenings & weekends) I need some motivation from somewhere it anybody can help!

Hello @Chans11 , it looks like your thread has gotten a bit lost. We'll move it over to the Exercise and Fitness board and give it a bump.

How often would u be able to do exercise? Would u be able to get to a gym or would it be at home ?

Do you have any family to have your dd for a couple hours to join a gym or go to an exercise class?

Or put on an exercise video on YouTube and get your daughter to join in- my son used to love that!

Ugh I’m pretty much in the same boat as you and also trying to find time to do some work from home, and the last thing I want to do is exercise honestly. I used to do yoga daily before bed, before children, and that did help tremendously with everything really, digestion, muscle soreness, joints, sleep and mental health, so it’s just in theory gathering the motivation to return to this routine, or at least twice a week to start! And I just did this at home, I just bought a yoga mat. Also doing hobbies you enjoy I would say helps you feel more like ‘you’. Gardening is something that I absolutely love, but I now not everyone is into it.
