Hi
im trying to get back into exercise. I found someone who did 10 minute workout routines, it’s a lot of stretching though and I feel like I need something more.

i don’t have lots of space though as I do it in the bedroom, but I’d like short workouts with lots of variety and some weights as well.

thanks

Adrienne for yoga

Team Body Project is great!

I’ve done a few FitbyMik which I’ve enjoyed. I decided to concentrate on the exercise bike and walking for a few weeks first, so I’ve only done a few shorter upper body ones but my arms have already improved so much.

I was going to try another today so I need to go through this thread again and try someone else.

Id do a challenge but I am struggling in the heat and wish I was in an air conditioned gym!

I like Tom Merrick for stretch/general eye candy. The stretches are actually very good. :-)

Joanna Soh is brilliant - she has a huge range of videos from beginner low impact cardio to more advanced weights workouts. Usually about 30 minutes long.

Another vote for Caroline Girvan. I consider her to be the absolute best online trainer for strength. However, you have to be fairly fit and/or committed as doing g her workouts properly is tough. If you're not sure, try some of her shorter, targeted workouts rather than EPIC or her other programmes.

Here are my other recommendations:

Lucy Wyndham Read for novices or those who have physical limitations. Lucy also has a short programme for those who want to start running.

Yoga with Kassandra - a bit more 'oomph' than Adrienne.

Growingannanas for HIIT. I often combine one of her workouts with Caroline Girvan. Neither of them chats (which I find annoying unless it's yoga), and both have very high production values.

General pilates type workouts: Heather Robertson, Sydney Cummings, MadFit.

Redefining strength has some good explanations of different types of exercises, as well as useful advice on how to do things like push-ups or pull-ups, which can be challenging.

Ditto for reasons relating to good stretching moves plus eye candy.

If you don't mind spending a relative small amount for an annual subscription then Sharron Davies workouts are excellent. https://www.sharrondaviestraining.co.uk

They are 15 minute workouts with really simple moves and two levels of intensity.

Welcome to Sharron Davies Training

I'm really liking BurpeeGirl, no burpees involved lol.
Knee friendly exercises some with weights.
