Men in communal showers

I swim several times a week. I like the pool. I like the facilities, lanes (mostly!) are self policed by all swimmers.
but why oh why do the men have to give a full rummage around the front of their suits when they shower afterwards. Pull the suit out, hand goes in, and whatever. Some don’t even think to turn around to do this.

So Gross.
anyone else? It happens every single time I swim. Lots of kids rinsing off after lessons. I’d love to be brave enough to say something

oh gawd, yes i went this year to a pool that previously had separate facilities and now joined up/unisex , i saw one man totally naked in the showers and 1 standing having a pee with the door open! don't think the signage was exactly clear!!!

How strange! No you're not being unreasonable. I'd rather not see other men naked.

Inappropriate. Can you imagine if a woman did the same thing - pulled out the waistband of her bikini briefs and shoved her hand in? For anyone who thinks this is completely normal in a communal shower designed for rinsing off, my mind boggles. Anything goes once you’re in your own cubicle or in a single sex shower room - but communal? Nope. The pp who mentioned male sense of entitlement has got it in one.

Weird. Never noticed this in 30 years of using communal mixed sex showers. Nor I have I noticed women lifting & heaving their bits around.

Probably because you don't watch other people in the shower like others apparently do

I think turning around and rummaging would look way worse 🤣🤣

It's not that deep, they're entitled to make sure they're rinsed and it's easy not to look at people.
Bit of a non event

They are touching their penises in public. That's not a public - appropriate act imo.
