Can you see any difference in my stomach?

Definitely not a boast thread 😆

I gained weight around four years ago and despite doing a lot of running/walking/gym classes nothing has really helped me to shift it.

I've changed tack and started seeing a personal trainer.

Rather than weighing myself frequently and getting frustrated by the scales moving slowly this time I'm taking my measurements and trying to use photos to identify my progress (I will also weigh myself intermittently, but not the week after Christmas).

Anyway, can you see the difference in the stomach area in these two pictures? The T Shirt is the same, just the leggings are different.

Can you see any difference in my stomach?

I'd be interested to know the difference in your starting measurements and now. Have you lost a lot of inches/cm?

It's difficult to be sure, being apple shaped I really don't have a very defined waist - finding the 'smallest part' is hard - I think it's an inch smaller than it was.

@canyoufeelit

You can define see the difference in the pics.

Well done

It's so hard. I've got three stone to shift so back to early morning walks which I love as I listen to podcasts as I go and then I want to start lifting and firm myself up

My core is terrible and I've spent this year with a lot of back ache which I know is due to the extra weight as well as a really weak core.

I've just got over the flu and pulled my stomach muscles badly so am feeling unfit and hun healthy.

Keep going op your looking great

Thank you :)

I've done four sessions with the p/t plus (mostly!) followed their diet plan between now and when I started in November. I was determined not to pack on weight once again over Christmas and this time I haven't.

It's bloody hard work and sometimes a struggle to see that it's worth it so I appreciate views.

I love walking with podcasts, too, well done for being committed after getting over being ill - I got covid 1 week into P/T and the cough is still haunting me :(

I use this board a lot and never post but have delurked to say that I think it's really passive-aggressive to come on to an EXERCISE board and imply that someone is being obsessing and that you have 'concerns' for them because they've posted about EXERCISE.

I enjoyed seeing you be called out for it. I wish more people would call out this sort of thing, it seems to be constant on here.

Agreed. It came across as very patronising to me.

You look great OP keep up the good work

its a bit difficult to see a definite difference OP, as you are standing up straight in one pic and leaning forward in the other - but it does look like you have lost an inch or two. You say you think you’ve lost an inch, if you are taking measurements wouldn’t you know how many inches you’ve lost?

I can totally see the difference. In the first photo the front of your t-shirt and body are making contact, whereas in the second one it looks completely free.

Your legs and bum look more streamlined too.
