When do you do your exercise and how frequent?

I'm just trying to get into exercise. I need to crest a habit and routine rather than just expect the exercise will happen.

When do you get your workout in? Morning, lunchtime, evening, weekend!

How many times do you workout and what kind of fitness do you do?

I'm thinking 3-4 times per week, couple if runs, a walk and something strength related.

I've NEVER been a morning g person to work out. But I've also NEVER been consistent at the evening workout either, so going to give the morning a try and see how I get on.

I work full time but still from home. I do 45-60 mins on my lunch break, eat lunch after at desk. At weekends I do it in the morning. Kids (7 & 2) are used to it now, the 2 year old does sometimes climb on me which makes the planks somewhat more challenging...
I do five days and then have a rest day, plus walk everywhere.
Caroline Girvin is really good because you're following a proper programme and every day is different. So after the five day block I know I've targeted everything that needs targeting!

I do 1 or 2 shorter runs in the week, generally straight after work.

I do the Saturday morning park run for a longer run.

I also swim 2 or 3 times a week, 8 am on the Sunday and then a couple of straight after work slots.

I can only do morning exercise if I don't need to work otherwise I find it hard to settle into work and focus!

But at the weekends I find doing my exercise first thing makes me more effective for the day!

This is a really interesting thread!

I work 8.30 to 4 M-F but am up at 6.30 to sort kids out and drop to breakfast club. Can’t bear to get up earlier to work out so during the week I’m trying to exercise in the evenings before I do dinner. One Zumba class, a couple of runs and an online Yoga or Pilates, low intensity class the other evenings so I’m still doing something. Weekends I’m usually awake by 8ish so an early run one day and a long walk / cycle with the kids the other. That’s my plan, anyway!

I m regularly doing my workout in the early morning time. This will providing good health benefits to the body. I also refresh my mind by doing simple running exercise in the morning time. I start my workout in the morning time at 6 am. I regularly doing my exercise for one hour. Some times I will do exercise half an hour extra.

I tried to get into morning workouts and it lasted a week. Gone back to being lazy now. Will try again over the weekend.
Wish I could nail the consistency of working out regularly.
