As the first thread is on 998 I thought I’d better make a new one before adding today’s mileage!

1610.1 - which is just over the thousand mile mark.

Lovely 10km mostly off road today in the cold but wintery sun.

That’s brilliant errol massive achievement well done (sorry I didn’t see the post on Monday).

Quick functional 5k early in dark drizzle just to keep on track with HM train plan. Little concerned my foot is aching again 🙄that’s what stopped me running in the summer.

Grey gloomie weather for a 5k “parkrun” route with a friend this morning that I’d not seen for a while. Hoping I’ve inspired her to get back running again as we used to do parkrun most weeks together but she stopped running much when lockdown hit.

Do you run in miles errol? It would drive me a tiny bit errr if my runs like yours finish at a 0.1 or 0.3 I have to round them up or down to closest 0.5km 🤣

I'm walking not running! so the length of walk may be determined by random explorations on local walks, or encountering exceptional mud or unfordable streams. My watch gives the distance to 2 dps so rounding to one makes sense to me.

Today is 7 C, drizzling and very overcast - not even slightly tempted to set foot outside. Whether I can motivate myself to get on the rower remains to be seen.

My DH just finished the C25K so we are going to do 5k tomorrow. Hopefully we will not fall out over it. He usually cycles.

37.54 miles of walking done in the last 2 weeks, just really lacking the motivation to go out an about at the moment. I'm waiting for shops to reopen as I want to get some Christmas bits and bobs, and I usually walk into town so that will help my mule counts!
