Any other beetroot faces out there?

Hi everyone, I'm after some tips and advice to combat the beetroot-face I get every time I go running. My face gets really hot and basically goes bright red.

I have always had this problem ever since childhood - I was always the kid who came in from playtime looking like someone had injected red paint under my skin Confused

I don't think it's a sign of unfitness as I used to play loads of sports as a teen and still had the red-face. It's just a bit embarrassing!
Is it just something I need to suck up and live with or is there anything I can do to reduce it?

I used to get this but it lessened as I got older ( am 40 now). As a kid I blushed really badly and always went bright red when exercising. Now I'm just a crazy sweater. In summer I have to wear a crop top to exercise because the weight of my sweat drags a loose top top down- it's like having a wet tea towel flapping round my stomach. Weirdly I don't sweat much normally- only when exercising. I can lose 2kg on a long run. So weird.

I get beetroot arms when doing weights Blush Apparently my back muscles do the same. Personal trainer said it was easy to see if exercises hitting spot as I "red up" in the specific area immediately as muscle starts to work hard - more so than any other client he's seen.

I am taking this as a positive "great circulation" but of feedback Grin

I ran a 5k fun run yesterday in 28 mins. I was embarrassed to go to Tesco an hour later. Blush
