Well this was always organised before by the lovely Leningrad - who seems to have sadly departed these boards If you are lurking Lenin, I miss you and desperately need help with my team. I am not trying to steal the glory!

So in honour of Lenin, I would like to announce the new league for this season. Code is 1176352-279591. Lets hope the Olympics have got our competitive juices flowing and let's have an exciting bunfight season, as let's face it, I need something to talk to DH about between August and May.

Good to see a few teams in the league now! Here's hoping my two strikers get me some more points today and tomorrow- still not sure that going with Torres was a good idea!

I was impressed with my team finishing in the top 10 out of over 50 teams last season. Hoping for another good season.

I join DH's work league as well. I actually beat him last season and he said if it happens again he is going to stop doing the fantasy football. I also came 3 out of a league of about 15 men and I am the only woman.

His collegues don't believe it is me, they think DH put 2 teams in himself under different e mail addresses.

All set up and ready to go for this weekend - Down a weeks points as I missed the start of the season, but going on last seasons performance I'll be so far down the league that won't matter anyway.

Oh I am so glad I've found you! I started last week just on my own against DH

Shame for Rooney being out for 4 weeks, but this is a marathon not a sprint!!

Will my points from last week be added in to my total? Or will I just be a week down?
