i've started couch to 5k and am doing okay- but i want to tone these areas.

OK I am with you - doing 5K and flabby in all those special places!

Have a PT and this is what I am doing:

Bingo wings - weighted rows and press ups
thighs - running is working for them but also do lunges and squats
Saddlebags - see above!

tell you soon if they work!

thanks ZZ- but i am so new to getting of the sofa I dont know what weighted rows are!

Hi

Tricep dips here are great for bingo wings and toning up arms

Dumbell rows- video http://www.ehow.com/video_2351302_do-dumbbell-rows-exercises.html here but instead of just doing one arm like him I would do both at once whilst sort of squatting/sticking my bum out if that makes sense- if you do squats at same tume you'll tone your thighs too

Another good bingo wings one is to stand with your weights and hands by your sides, just in the normal standing position, then lift your arms up so they are straight out in front of you at 90 degree angle, then slowly lowe.

You should aim to do 2 sets of 15 with a 30 second rest int he middle, is what a trainer told me. if you can do the sets of 15 comfortably ie with no 'wobble' at the end you should get heavier weights.
