We need to come together. If as the exit polls suggest it has been a great victory for us Tories that is also succes for labour because Tory policies are better for all citizens. The British people are very sensible. Centrist parties win as Blair knew. Extreme left win parties don't because we know their policies never work.

Anyway let us see where we all stand tomorrow morning.

My chronically ill son is already suffering as a result of desperately stretched CAMHS services. How DARE you say Tory policies are better for UK citizens.

Hundreds of ill people are dying within weeks of being declared fit for work. Soaring homelessness. Doubling of homeless deaths. 130,000 dying due to austerity policies. NHS on its knees, teachers buying stationary supplies.

The Conservatives won because they are middle ground and centrist. They are not the small state, low tax, low spend party I would like. So that is one reason they won. Labour went too far to the left.

I am sorry the left use such bad language but it tends to say more about them than anything else.

The current government is not centre. It's as right wing as they come.
Even Mrs Thatchers crowd were not as right wing as these are.

It is pretty high spending surely and very high tax - no suggestion the 47% upper tax/NI rate will go down for example or that we will have smaller state or a low flat tax or anything like that. No suggestion my 3600 a year council tax will be reduced.

Tell me Xenia how come after 9 years of Tory government my kids school can't afford paper or glue, and how come in a&e the other day there were 200 people and just 4 desperately overworked nurses and a similar no of doctors? Where has our local children's centre gone? How come with my first child I had continuous care from one midwife, whereas with my last I was lucky to see the same face twice? How come things are so immeasurably worse here than in other similar European countries despite their going through the same economic crash as us?

I am enjoying it very much indeed. The nation made the right choice. Even Bishop Auckland now has a Tory MP for the first time since 1935. The Conservative party better looks after the country and its finances and ensures people are cared for. Labour just spends any money it has and it runs out - never works.
