There is nothing on Yellowhammer that has not been posted on here many times.

Notonthestairs · 12/09/2019 11:37

I don't think you can read Yellowhammer and say that is what you want.

People shouldn't be put forward as collateral

Parker231 · 12/09/2019 11:39

Mummmy - again I ask why do you positively want something which will hurt people? I’m assuming you have a good financial buffer and you and your family aren’t doing to loose your jobs.

Bearbehind · 12/09/2019 11:39

There is nothing on Yellowhammer that has not been posted on here many times.

That wasn’t my question.

Yellowhammer is the base case scenario, it is what WILL happen with no deal.

My question was - If everything on that list happens is that still acceptable to you as the price of leaving the UK?

Bearbehind · 12/09/2019 11:39

EU not UK

mummmy2017 · 12/09/2019 11:46

How can you not understand.
This is the only way we can ever leave the EU.

ContinuityError · 12/09/2019 11:49

I think.. In my limited capacity being a leaver, orange is trying to show, its not just one side where strings are possibly pulled or alterior motives.

Really? It seems more like a flat out accusation of a 20+ year career civil servant being corrupt.

ie It just looks like he was always working for them. and Don't tell me it's not dodgy that our most senior Brexit negotiator is now working for them.

PatienceThreadbare · 12/09/2019 11:56

I think Mummy is saying that Brexit is so important to her, and she feels so strongly that our country needs Brexit, that it doesn't matter if people die as a result. Brexit matters so much that their deaths are worth it.

Have I understood correctly?

Apileofballyhoo · 12/09/2019 11:57

The UK is not some third world country, how can you not see this.

Mummmy I am so sad for you.

Notonthestairs · 12/09/2019 11:58

Patience - that's how I read Mummy's posts.

mummmy2017 · 12/09/2019 12:01

Yes, I want what I voted for .
I know what will happen but worth it as we will never ever get this chance again.

Parker231 · 12/09/2019 12:04

Mummmy - you blatantly don’t understand what is going to happen and your posts show that you don’t care. How can that be worth it - and what is β€˜it’ which we apparently be benefiting by?

PatienceThreadbare · 12/09/2019 12:04

Thanks for clarifying, Mummy.

It must be how terrorists think too: this political aim is so important that it is worth killing people over.

mummmy2017 · 12/09/2019 12:07

Yes my vote is important to me.

Bearbehind · 12/09/2019 12:10

How the fuck do you begin to discuss this with someone hellbent on leaving, for no tangible reasons, when they freely admit they know it will cost some people their lives

mummmy2017 · 12/09/2019 12:14

Bear you can't say it Will kill people as you are not 100% sure of that.
Just because I don't agree with you does not mean I am wrong, just we disagree.

PatienceThreadbare · 12/09/2019 12:14

I don't think it is possible to reason with murderous ideologues. Or if it is, it requires specialist skills.

Personally I find that sort of thinking sickening. I imagine most people would.

Parker231 · 12/09/2019 12:15

A vote is important to everyone but so is food, medicine, supply chain, a job, home, petrol and peace.

mummmy2017 · 12/09/2019 12:16

Ok can I please have the names and addresses of the people you 100% know will die!.

DorisDaysDadsDogsDead · 12/09/2019 12:17

Unfortunately, Mummy is exactly the sort of person who would have died at Waco defending David Koresh.

It's actually quite frightening that there are so many cultists out there.

mummmy2017 · 12/09/2019 12:19

You lot seem just as zealous over staying to me.
Infact you have been demanding voting is overlooked to get your own way.

DorisDaysDadsDogsDead · 12/09/2019 12:21

I wonder how many people Mummy thinks would die if we revoked Article 50...

Parker231 · 12/09/2019 12:22

Dr Nicholl was involved in the contingency planning and has asked the government what level of mortality rate are they willing to accept in the light of a no-deal Brexit. The BMA have also written expressing their concerns.

mummmy2017 · 12/09/2019 12:23

People don't want to revoke, so your going against the Electorate to get your own way.... Dictatorship or what.

Parker231 · 12/09/2019 12:25

Mummmy. - I 100% want the UK to revoke but realise that is unlikely. However I, unlike you, don’t want people to struggle through Brexit.
