“We need to bring Brexit to an end on October 31st”

I keep hearing this.

But if we leave on October 31st with the WA or no deal it will only be the start of years and years of negotiation! Years and years of politicians arguing about our future arrangement with the EU instead of concentrating on NHS, schools, adult social care, prisons.

Years and years of what we’ve had to suffer for the last 3 years!

I can’t bear itSad

Just seen 3 vox pops on BBC1, members of the great British public saying that BJs deal needs to go through today because it’ll put a stop to all the Brexit uncertainty and they’re sick of the deadlock.

Unbelievable how people haven’t got a clue and will believe anything they want to hear.

If MPs couldn’t agree on the first rung of the ladder, how will they agree on anything else in the future arrangementHmm

Yes there may be another election but I can’t see BJ getting a huge majority, Nigel farage won’t go away, and he will hold the government to ransom as he wants no deal.

It’ll go on for years and years! During which time there will be more uncertainty for business, and many will leave.

Why don’t the presenters pull up MPs that say we just need to “get Brexit done”???

Unfortunately if it passes, the politicians don't get any future say as trade deals are the remit of the government of the day Shock

So with the Conservatives in power, Singapore-on-Thames and chlorinated chicken here we come. And Parliament can do fuck all to stop it.

And even if a GE is called, BJ would probably win it because "he got Brexit done" ConfusedAngry - even though the WA is just the start of the process Sad

Nope, uncertainty all the way, for many years to come, this country will never be the same again, sadly.

Yup. The bloody useless MSM have let this idea take root. It is an absolute Gold Rosette Melton Mowbray Pork Pie Of The Year.

I agree, certainly not in my lifetime.
