Or the DUP, the party of NO!
Mrs May, the (word) means (word).
Vote 'Leave'. What would YOU like it to mean today?

NoBaggyPants · 18/04/2019 13:56

Much confusion on the doorsteps. (Been out canvassing.)

"I'm voting for Farage's lot."
"Oh, The Brexit Party?"
"No, UKIP. I'm voting for UKIP."
"Ah, OK then..."

Peregrina · 18/04/2019 14:02

Which of you Leavers here have ever voted in EU elections?

Obviously some people must have done or Farage, and Nuttall and a few of the other once UKIP horrors wouldn't have won their seats.

Me - Conservative last time though.

1tisILeClerc · 18/04/2019 14:14

In a years time it will be found that virtually no one voted for leave.

They obviously haven't read the Telegraph. Grin

"Forget Ukip, the only way to rattle the pro-EU establishment is to back the Brexit Party"

Peregrina · 18/04/2019 14:40

Clavinova - I believe that yours is the first positive response I have had from a Leaver, and I have been asking off and on for nearly three years now..

All the others tell me why they prefer not to bother, dressed up with high sounding justifications which in reality translate to 'hogwash'.

ContinuityError · 18/04/2019 15:15

one trick pony parties

As in ones that have a single policy summed up entirely in its name Grin

Coppersulphate · 20/04/2019 01:47

I have sent my money and will support them if we have EU elections.
Otherwise whoever is the Leave candidate.

Peregrina · 20/04/2019 09:19

I think you need to do a bit of reading about how the MEPs are elected Coppersulphate.

greathat · 20/04/2019 09:39

I do like thebrexitparty.com I hope Nigel Farage is enjoying it. I'm sure he will have learned a valuable lesson - twat

As I don't have a TV, and miss much of the news, what plans do any of the 'Leave' parties have for making the UK great again?
Have they pledged to improve industry in the North? How are they going to reconfigure the UK economy to replace industry that is moving to the EU?
Or is their plan to just leave and then sit on their arses?

dontleavemerhisway · 20/04/2019 10:20

Coppersulphate · 21/04/2019 01:55

Peregrina,
Thank you for your advice but I don't think I need to read anything.
I will just vote for whatever candidate the Brexit party fields or, if there is no candidate in my area I will vote for whoever is the strongest leaver.

mummmy2017 · 21/04/2019 06:45

If there is no appetite for Brexit.... Then what are you worried about.

1tisILeClerc · 21/04/2019 07:36

Coppersulphate
Like other moronic leavers still has no bloody clue where the money to fund the changes they want will come from.
This pathetic whining about 'sovereignty' and inequality isn't going to get addressed until someone comes up with a plan and so far after 3 years and £66 Billion wasted, there is still no fucking plan.

ContinuityError · 21/04/2019 08:58

Yeah, you probably do need to do some reading as to how EP elections work.
