Green, Lib Dem's, TIGs, SNP all remain.

Labour is NOT a remain party.

EU elections are a party lists system, you don't vote for candidates you vote for party policy.

woman19 · 12/04/2019 21:12

For 3 years pro EU groups have been working on a cross party basis

Same strategy will need to be used by pro EU candidates in the EU elections, to avoid dividing the pro EU vote; if voters tell them to.

Happy Not Brexit Day. Smile

Tanith · 12/04/2019 22:11

Diane James seems to have transferred from UKIP to Nigel Farage's [[brexitparty.com]

prettybird · 12/04/2019 22:15

So who is funding Nigel Farage's Brexit Party? It's not clear how much Arron Banks has contributed on the www.thebrexitparty.com website.

TalkinPaece · 12/04/2019 22:17

Prettybird
Farage is funded by Tice and thus Mercer again

prettybird · 12/04/2019 22:21

So Nigel Farage's The Brexit Party has suspect, far right funding again Hmm

I see Carol Cadwalldr is giving Nigel Farage a justified hard time about just who is funding his party Grin

AloneLonelyLoner · 12/04/2019 22:26

Sweet mercy this thread has made my week!

northerngirl2012 · 12/04/2019 22:26

www.thebrexitparty.com/ Is this what all the fuss is about ?
www.thebrexitparty.com/ And Nigel garage

northerngirl2012 · 12/04/2019 22:27

Whoops typo there, I meant www.thebrexitparty.com/ and Nigel FARAGE.

AloneLonelyLoner · 12/04/2019 22:36

There's something about Nigel Farage isn't there? I'm not sure, but his weak chin makes me go all funny inside. Do you think this is touched upon on www.thebrexitparty.com/

WordsAndWorlds · 12/04/2019 22:40

Folks, for greatest effect, you'd want to make sure you of course weren't posting Nigel Farage plus the link in as many different threads and different forums as possible to avoid helping Nige out... not just on this thread- whether 5 people do it or 90 on this thread makes very little difference to Google, you only get the impact initially (just a hint from one of those rubbish SEO types that need to justify their existence ;) )

AloneLonelyLoner · 12/04/2019 22:45

Would it be a good idea to put it on the sex forum then? This is definitely a place for Nigel.

Tanith · 12/04/2019 22:56

"Would it be a good idea to put it on the sex forum then? This is definitely a place for Nigel."

Only if you include his number Smile

NiteFlights · 13/04/2019 16:29

Nigel Farage of www.thebrexitparty.com isn’t getting funding from Arron Banks this time because what happened last time was upsetting for him (Banks). Also Farage says that the Brexit Party will ‘put the fear of God’ into parliamentarians, which I’m sure he means entirely metaphorically, just like when he said the referendum result was achieved ‘without a shot being fired’. Or perhaps it’s just a joke, like what Boris Johnson wrote in his Telegraph column about no deal being people’s preferred option. Anyway, it underlines what a jolly good man of the people and champion of democracy we have in Nigel Farage. Of www.thebrexitparty.com.

MockerstheFeManist · 13/04/2019 18:39

The circumstances around the creation of the Brexit Party sound as dodgy as Farage's Euro-Parliament expenses claims:

Miljah · 14/04/2019 17:25

www.thebrexitparty.com appears to take you to a page that isn't actually www.thebrexitparty.com . I can only assume that when they were registering www.thebrexitparty.com, someone's hand must've slipped, so they didn't type www.thebrexitparty.com correctly.

How strange! Wink

Brefugee · 17/04/2019 20:48

also loving that George Galloway is totes behind Farage (of thebrexitparty.com I believe?) has tweeted this to a parody account...

I was just stunned by Nige's professionalism in the picture of him speaking in Birmingham, with some 'T' shirts placed over chair backs and his 'possy' behind all wearing them with jackets and whatever.
£50 'all in' for promotional material?, is that the best a gold trader can manage?

Marketing at its best - you obviously haven't seen yesterday's poll results from YouGov. Grin

1tisILeClerc · 18/04/2019 09:11

{Marketing at its best - you obviously haven't seen yesterday's poll results from YouGov.}

It is probably excessive considering the congregation have all the critical thinking powers of the 'nodding dog' on the rear parcel shelf of your car.

ContinuityError · 18/04/2019 10:52

clav have you seen the more recent YouGov/Times poll?

Your chart appears to be incorrect - the Brexit Party was only on 15% last week;

www.thetimes.co.uk/article/farage-party-surges-into-euro-poll-lead-p8jnf5qgh

ContinuityError · 18/04/2019 11:30

Clavinova Don’t think so - it’s the YouGov/Times data with the don’t knows / not voting removed and compares the Brexit Party voting intention from 15th/16th April (YouGov/People’s Vote poll) to 16th/17th April (and not last week).

So a 4% drop over a period of 24-48 hours.

Which really just shows that polls are going to be bouncing around, especially for the one trick pony parties.

Mistigri · 18/04/2019 13:27

I was just stunned by Nige's professionalism

Nige is presenting simplistic, one-issue, policies to people who are looking for simple solutions to complex problems. The amateurism is part of his appeal.

OTOH I don't think the plastic garden chairs necessarily had any intended symbolism - I think they are just a symptom of a poorly planned and underfunded campaign - lots of snouts in troughs to be fed before invoices can be signed off.

ATEOTD none of this matters while Farage can count on free promotion from the BBC and the right wing press.

Clavinova · 18/04/2019 13:44

one trick pony parties.

You have just described the Liberal Democrats. Grin
