When I vote I tend to vote based not on pure self-interest but what I think will be best for everyone. I've repeatedly voted against my own self interest because a better world is ultimately better for everyone. including me and mine.

No one is saying you have to. Just don't try to deny people their vote when they don't live the same way you do.

I think that's a bit unfair ... they'd also be quite happy for the UK to become a shithole to deter immigrants too. So quite balanced.
