While my gut says we won't Revoke, I remember the Poll Tax fiasco as a young taxpayer. It felt at the time that there was no going back and that Thatcher would not Uturn on it. And she did.

I'm sure there will be some, there always are when it comes to petitions. However, this petition has been shared all over social media, so it's far more likely that the majority of signatures are genuine.

The percentage of constituencies is the thing to keep an eye on. The reason why that tool is there is for MPs to gauge the mood in their area.

Some constituencies are approaching 7.5% signed. As that number increases it should start to put some pressure on that MP.
