The Brexit thread.

By Brexiters, for Brexiters.

Remainers welcome, but gobshites & goadyfuckers are encouraged to take their business elsewhere.

I did. Not clear what's so great about wishing to ruin the country due to sentiments of that nature but thanks for contributing the quote.

Talkstotrees · 12/03/2018 17:50

I think you missed my sarcasm?

LondonMum8 · 12/03/2018 18:22

Guilty as charged.

CardinalSin · 13/03/2018 15:37

Hilarious!

The Brexit Arms
gussyfinknottle · 13/03/2018 15:41

Cardinal ... you couldn't make that up !!!!Grin

LondonMum8 · 13/03/2018 15:47

LOL, still is the apex of our idiocracy in sight yet?

LondonMum8 · 13/03/2018 16:09

Not while BJ is around...

Russia will not co-operate with the UK inquiry into how an ex-spy and his daughter were poisoned until it has been given a sample of the substance used, its foreign minister has said.

Sergei Lavrov's comments came as police appealed for witnesses who had seen the pair's red BMW car before the attack.

UK Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson hailed support from other countries.

Putin's useful idiots hailing support against Putin from other countries :D

Theworldisfullofidiots · 13/03/2018 16:47

Another Russian death being investigated.

LondonMum8 · 13/03/2018 17:22

Well, when you successfully pull the strings in the country the way Putin has in the UK, I guess the right to kill a few personal enemies comes with the territory?

Speaking of which, is there still enough operational capacity to investigate Arron Banks and Leave.EU properly? I guess not...

Fab piece of analysis from Prof Curtice on the politics of Indy and Brexit, as we were discussing last week.

LondonMum8 · 13/03/2018 17:56

The UK for Changing Europe outfit is run by Anand Mendon, whose fairly deep pro-Brexit bias is quite evident (e.g. his recent Graun article, Twitter account, statistical profile :), etc.)

howabout · 13/03/2018 18:36

Pretty sure your comment says more about your inherent bias than Prof Menon's or Sir Prof Curtice's London. The reason I posted the Curtice piece is because the GE 2017 result and analysis has changed his view on the prospects for Indyref2 from where he was in 2016.

LondonMum8 · 13/03/2018 18:53

Oh, I def have a pro-Remain bias. Well done figuring that one out :)

FaithHopeCharityDesperation · 13/03/2018 19:02

Pretty sure your comment says more about your inherent bias than Prof Menon's or Sir Prof Curtice's London.

She has form for this howabout.

Doesn't rate eminent academics, lawyers, CEOs, SMEs etc & has a mistrust of peer reviewed literature apparently.

LondonMum8 · 13/03/2018 19:42

Ah, @FaithHopeCharityDesperation showed up.
No. 1 in crude personal attacks on the Brexit Arms.

OliviaD68 · 13/03/2018 20:06

@LondonMum8

She has nothing else.

FaithHopeCharityDesperation · 13/03/2018 20:09

Brexshit quote of the day:

Chatted with a really interesting guy today .. HGV driver. Quote " thought I was voting for more money for the NHS. But fuck it my job's on the line. What the fuck are they doing? Nobody told us this shit" They haven't got a fucking clue and that arsehole Corbyn is as bad .

howabout · 14/03/2018 10:24

Guy Verhofstadt

"This afternoon @SophieintVeld will speak for ALDE in the debate on #Selmayrgate, a case damaging the Commission and Europe as a whole. The EU recently turned a corner, so we could have easily done without this misstep."

www.politico.eu/article/martin-selmayr-sophie-int-veld-selmayrgate-destroys-eu-credibility-says-liberal-mep/

I agree with Guy and Sophie and a host of other MEPs.

LondonMum8 · 14/03/2018 10:56

Politico, huh? Wonder what RT have to say on that..

howabout · 14/03/2018 11:34

No idea. You'd be better off asking Nippy to consult with Wee Eck.

LondonMum8 · 14/03/2018 17:45

Project Reality Update: Bloomberg reports Unilever is about to move its European HQ from the UK to Holland.

Doubletrouble99 · 15/03/2018 08:39

Unilever have stated that the move has absolutely nothing to do with Brexit.

LondonMum8 · 15/03/2018 08:55

Haha. Only very few large multinational executives would explicitly get involved in UK politics state the truth here. At best you'd get some innuendo, like from Blankfein of Goldman Sachs who decided to get indirectly involved with Brexit on Tweeter. He probably doesn't care that much because he is retiring this year after achieving it all. Meanwhile Goldman has been shipping very lucrative jobs to NY and mainland in absolute droves and speaking to people who work there it's obviously due to Brexit. HTH
