That's all. Pop over and sit down quietly if you like.

Thanks for this corner. I feel quite drained after I post on the EU ref topic threads. Need this place.

boredofbrexit · 20/03/2017 22:38

Fancy a WineHalo

Valentine2 · 20/03/2017 22:47

Haven't you just been to the pub bored? Stop drowning yourself in it Grin
I am a nearly 100% teetotal.

SummerLightning · 20/03/2017 22:59

I don't think that outs you V.

I am meant to be working as it's early here but I will gratefully take a bucket of wine as my MIL is staying, thank you bored

if she likes cake and is not allergic to blue foodcolouring, send her along, she will be made welcome, we are a friendly bunch.

SummerLightning · 20/03/2017 23:11

She talks shit and her opinion on Brexit varies according to the day of the week, is that OK?

She also may be rude about your cake. But she will eat it. (like the wine she said was off, then proceeded to drink the entire bottle)

Valentine2 · 20/03/2017 23:12

summer
Brexit Arms has run for the hills by the looks of it. But I swear I will campaign to have surfer banned for that. You just don't open and close a pub as you like. Not when we have only just started to become proper British that would be her words, not mine.

Valentine2 · 20/03/2017 23:15

bored I have just realised it's you. 🙄 I have been infrequent round here so keep loosing track of posters and considered you were laughing at me on the Brexit Arms thread. Sorry Blush

VanillaSugar · 20/03/2017 23:20

Hello. Can I pull up a chair and gently weep in the corner?

SummerLightning · 20/03/2017 23:28

Of course, would you like wine or tea?

Scone with jam? It's the finest strawberry jam, made by Jeremy Corbyn himself.

boredofbrexit · 20/03/2017 23:30

thing is surfer needs a few days to get everything back to imperial measures etc; shes awaiting guidlines re ditched eu directives and all that. rumours of restaffing. big re-opening on 29th. free union jacks for all.

ExitPursuedByUser54321 · 20/03/2017 23:38

Yum. Corbyn jam. What flavour would that be then?

boredofbrexit · 20/03/2017 23:42

gooseberry

SummerLightning · 20/03/2017 23:45

I did say it was strawberry but yes I do believe he makes gooseberry too. He always has time for making jam.

SummerLightning · 20/03/2017 23:46

The strawberry does go rather spiffingly with the scones though.

boredofbrexit · 20/03/2017 23:49

jam makes a reasonable base for wine

boredofbrexit · 20/03/2017 23:49

although being a scot i do like a scone

VanillaSugar · 21/03/2017 06:59

How do you pronounce Scone, or is that a dangerous subject? And is it jam first or cream first?

Anyway, hello. Thank you for offering me a chair.

smashedinductionhob · 21/03/2017 08:29

Good morning Vanilla.

I have something for you because you weep

smashed , thanks again for the thread. We're not giving in. Smile
See you all on Saturday.

lingle · 21/03/2017 08:57

I thought you might like the Springsteen Woman, it is him reaching out to Guthrie et al.

woman12345 · 21/03/2017 09:16

lingle I'm not a great Springsteen fan, but like the originals. Mavis Staples is my go to woman for strength singing. And Sister Rosetta Tharpe. And Martha Reeves. Smile
