My DS has ADHD.

The reason we moved his school was because although the school actually brought this to our attention, and we followed it up by going to the GP and being refered to the peadiatrian, his teacher would send him out of class every single day because he couldn't sit still. He wasn't being naughty, he just couldn't stop moving.

Me and DH were haulded into the school on a regular basis about it, and even the Head was backing his teacher.

The thing is is that DS was sent out of the class with no work to do. He would stand outside the class room or in the heads offices doing bugger all.

This resulted in DS being a year behind everyone else.

When we moved DS, obviously we were worried that the same thing would happen. But it didn't. His teacher is wonderful, and even before he started his Ritolin, he was catching up his work.

Sometimes change is the best way to go.

Good luck Harman, I know how difficult it can be. ((((hugs))))

Bollocks. Just think about it, harman. When has exp ever supported you in anything? He got involved with the first school because he thought he could go in and play the macho father. Now it's come to make real decisions with real effects, he's chickened out, but in such a way as to undermine you.

Be strong, go with your gut feeling and know that you are doing the best for your family. Knowing the history, the new school is going to go out of its way to ensure that your children have a great time there. As you said before, the school was fighting closure not so long ago. They won't want to be seen to be failing children placed in their care.

That's really good. How lovely that the 2 little girls rushed up to dd (they couldn't have known she wouldn't like it).

Just go back to ignoring exp. I take it he's still trying to avoid paying his dues wrt maintenance?? In which case, I think you have every right to be shitty .
