Lol! No nothing that controversial ha ha. I'm completely new to all this and was daft enough not to read the rules so I got off on a very bad start by "including shouty capitals in the title" - I got 2 warnings for that one thing. I then disagreed with a moderator, because I was mistaken in thinking that it was a democratic forum and was banned for "making pointless remarks to a moderator".

I was actually very upset to have been banned as I would never dream of being rude to anyone and when i told a friend what had happened,she said 'don't be so daft - just go back on with a different e-mail address and new nickname. I am a total technophobe and had no idea how to even do that, so she did it for me and next thing I know I got a PM from the Mod I'd disagreed with telling me that if I overstepped the mark again, I would be banned permanently. So I was very well behaved all day, but when I went onto the site the next day I was not even allowed to see the forum, let alone post, and have absolutely NO idea what my misdemeanour was. A lady had asked for advice on her DC's brace and I offered it - i.e. don't worry about it, it doesn't hurt for long and you can give paracetamol.

So I am truly flabbergasted, but saw some other posts on here about that site more or less saying the same thing - i.e. that the Mods are..... strange?....

Probably tells you all you need to know about the whole 'I gotta get my DC into grammar at ALL COSTS otherwise their future is COMPLETELY SCREWED'!

You don't want to go there anyway, they are mostly (notice the mostly, libel lawyers) complete fruit loops, and I hope they are all saving up for their children's psychiatrists' bills!

You are so right - thought I was in the minority in my thinking.

The mods are a dictatorship and act like those awful school teachers that have favourites. You know the ones that abuse their power and screw up children's futures. I feel sorry for any kids they teach. There is one member that always gets banned too but she is a nutter!

That's hysterical - I knew people could be uptight about this stuff but that is just hysterical. Think you are better off out of it!

Blessingsgalore Do you mean Tipsy? I think she's fab and very entertaining . There are a few fun ones on there who I shall miss, but, hopefully, will get to know new mums on here. I found most of them on that site Dull Dull and even more Dull. And, yes, it's just like teachers' pets - far too simpering for me - I like to say it as it is

But it is quite a laugh reading the threads on the 11plus forum and we don't want you to be denied that pleasure

Sounds like they've tried to restrict you accessing the forum via your IP address.
So, just access it via a proxy server.

Go to proxify.com and enter the 11+ forum website address there. It'll take you to the website but will do so via a different IP address so the forum won't recognise you as the previous "troublemaker".

You won't be able to post but at least you can see what they're writing about you

And if I got really desperate and wanted to post, I could sign on with a friend's computer, BUT HOPEFULLY I WILL NEVER BE THAT SAD! LOL.

I had never seen this forum before now, but I think I'll visit it now and post my controversial ideas about grammar schools. This will be fun.

Blessingsgalore they removed two whole threads that we'd been having a bit of fun on - one that I started called Who Does It For You? - For me it's David Cameron yes I know and the other thread was about my pschic abilities in sussing people out on-line lol!

Tipsy is still on there - she's now WaitingForGodot and I'm guessing that in the few months I'd been going on there she was behaving herself 'cos she told me she, too was banned, though not permanently.

If anybody goes on there could they please tell her that GORGEOUS is now on here as GORGEOUSX and that I've continued our David Cameron chat on here.

Also if somebody could PM Scarlett too and tell her the same.

I'd really appreciate that - it would be great to talk them again.
