Sellmer Diers - home delivery

Hi

Is Sellmer Diers now the only option for home insemination?

Has anybody used them? Has anyone used their healthcare professional service?

At the moment I don't know anyone who could complete the form for me so that I can complete this at home without going through a clinic. Has anyone one done this recently? Are there any success stories?

Any advice on using them would be much appreciated :-)

When I say clinics I was wondering if anyone had used the one in Shrewsbury or how that exactly works with the,.

I haven’t used that clinic @Jellybean444 but I’ve read posts from ladies who have. You can have your sperm delivered to the clinic (not sure what the cost is) and can either do the insemination yourself at the clinic or pay an additional £150 and one of the nurses will do it for you. They’re apparently really nice so it may be worth contacting them if you have any more questions.

I have been looking at the Sellmer Diers website for 2 years - waiting until I was finally in a position to start this process. I was so busy working i didnt notice the law change!! I did not want to go to a clinic and the ones I have spoken to this week want a lot of money just for 'assisting'! When I found this thread I have to say, it really lifted me, i felt hopeful again! Thank you so much for sharing the information. This thread is over a year old but it's STILL helping people! Thank you.I have contacted NFS and awaiting a response. Hopefully things can get moving Smile

Cor I wish my partner and I had known about the Shrewsburys clinic! That's so good a clinic is offering that service and helping couples to not be penniless from wanting a family.
We did IUI through a clinic and in the end have spent roughly £3,800 (we had to have another set of consultations and tests because corona made our old ones not valid!-too long between them)
We are however pregnant first time and now 7 weeks. About to have our 7 week scan today and am so very nervous!
