Hi,

do you get notified as soon as the conditional order is applied for? Or only when approved? The online tracker doesnt have a tick against the conditional order, but I am confused why the Ex hasnt applied for it. Do you get an email reminder?

May I ask do you have to agree on financial part to get the Conditional Order approved? Then the final order? Thanks! Mine is a tricky case, ex tried to avoid being served, and I had to apply for deemed service. Just submitted my conditional order application on the 12th of Jan, 2024. Hope can hear from the court soon.

I applied for a conditional order and this was accepted by the court. Once the conditional order was approved I then submitted the financial consent order to the court. This was drawn up separately, but can’t be submitted to the court for approval until the conditional order has been accepted. I now have to wait 6 weeks and a day until I can apply for my final order, and hoping that the financial consent order will be sealed before then. I can apply for my final order on the 24th January.

My application for coditional order have been submitted to the court on 4th jan 24, today 30 jan, nothing hered, why it takes so long? Anyone have any ideas?

I think the courts are just really busy and taking longer than usual at the minute. You could hear any day now. I applied for mine end of last year and I think it took 3 weeks to be accepted so I am sure you will hear anytime. I know it’s difficult when you are waiting for it! Good luck.

You will hear from them soon. I applied on 1st January and I got feedback on 24th though I omitted my second name and was asked to re verify.

Applied for conditional order 25th January. How long does normally takes?

Mine took 6 weeks… felt like the longest of the whole process. Some have had theirs back quicker.

It is very confusing. From what I understood it was 20 weeks waiting time for approval and for being able to apply for the conditional order. Some websites says that conditional order is quick one to be granted. I just wished this to be over now . They should change on government website saying 20 weeks plus 6 weeks and 1 day total time for the divorce. Because is not . takes ages and is confusing.

Hello, What date did you apply for your conditional order? Did it take 6 weeks from applying to the date of the court date or 6 weeks from applying to securing it and being able to apply for the final order? Many thanks ! :)

Yes you are right👍 why put so much delays and proceedures, for whose benefit? Instead these things create so much stress and sleep less nights 😇

Hello I applied for the conditional order on the 25 January.( it says in my online application that I will hear back from them by 21 st March )Did research and website says it takes up to several weeks for the conditional order to be checked and approved. And once conditional order is approved and date settled to pronounce in court you will need to wait 6 weeks plus 1 day to be able to apply for final order. what is annoying me so much that it say’s everywhere on websites that total time for the divorce is 20 weeks plus 6 weeks and 1 day . And is not true . they saying incorrect information on their website. It is 20 weeks plus another 6-8 weeks for conditional order approval and plus another 6 weeks plus 1 day for final order. It is all confusing and stressful.

Same here 🙏🙏🙏it takes way longer than their website says. I’ve been checking my emails 20 times a day 😂

It is so annoying. Takes forever. They are so slow in replying to emails as well . Only took them 7 weeks to respond to my email when I asked them to change email addresses on my application.

Applied for my conditional Order on 27th January. Heard nothing yet. Checked portal nothing. Email said I would have an email by the 23/03 which will tell me the date time and court where conditional order will be pronounced. I was hoping to hear way before then🙁

Conditional order confused 😇???

Conditional order approved after 8 weeks, on 4th march,pronouncement date is 19 th narch... From which date is 6 week counted??? Can anyone clarify please??? Conditional order appoval date or conditional order pronouncement date,

Hi Dan003, it is 6 weeks and 1 day from the pronouncement. Frustrating I know! But then if you apply as soon as the 6 weeks is up for your final order it only takes 24hrs, it took mine in January this year about 90 mins.

So I applied for the conditional order on the 25 th January and I got told yesterday that one of their admin people made an error on my application when she printed and wrote incorrect town as place of the marriage and my application was rejected thanks to this person . And is corrected now and I had to wait another few weeks. This is so ridicules! Is not even my fault and I been waiting already since 25 th January. Got told they cannot speed up my application and it went back to the end of the queue again . 😡

My ex has now changed his mind on arrangements regarding maintenance etc that he agreed to in order to get me to file an amicable divorce, conditional order being read out next week in court, as he's now changed wot he agreed to, should I stop the order as he's clearly used me to get the divorce done and now changed our agreement

My 20 weeks is up today and I'm just wondering if I get any sort of notification about the conditional order as it was my ex who put the application through online originally. I'm so confused about it all. I really don't want him going ahead with anything without me knowing about it as he is going to try and get away without paying me anything!!

Anybody ever challenged a financial consent order ? Mine going thru court right now, but ex put lower figures in his bit and didn't include all savings, business at all, and after agreeing to a private arrangement verbally for extra child maintenance so.i signed for equivalent of minimal cma on form retracting his verbal agreement so thinking of challenging based on fraud and emotional blackmail

Also I signed off on his private pension and no spousal ever ! He tricked me good, but said if I didn't, he would go fir 50 percent of my house, which has been mine thru inheritance prior to marriage married 15 years, stay at home mom on his insistence for few years, so he could have claim!

The courts send u email after the conditional order read in court. My ex took me for everything, yet he's the cheater and walked out, system is all wrong in so many ways. You could have contested cond order prior to it being read in court

@stella2024 i hope you are good. I know this is long ago but can you please confirm when you finally heard back after the error was corrected? Im in the same situation as you.
