ShakeysGirl · 12/12/2007 21:46

Hes affectionate, witty, loving, sensitive, talented, brilliant with my children, he thinks i'm beautiful even if i look a state. He's clever, caring, outgoing, lets me practice make up on him and i love him like i've never loved anyone before.

jinglebells2shoessmells · 12/12/2007 21:53

he loves me, brilliant dad and great alround man

UniversallyChallenged · 12/12/2007 21:55

jennifersofia · 12/12/2007 21:57

Just one thing?
I still find him interesting - I like his company - after 14 years.
I respect his brain, and love his wit.
He is an absolutely brilliant dad.
He never complains.
He respects me more than I do, and makes me look after myself.

funnypeCOOLYULEiar · 12/12/2007 21:58

He utterly shares my life
(in practical terms has just done the ironing, without being asked, whilst I was out babysitting for a mate)

flowerytaleofNewYork · 12/12/2007 22:00

I wasn't well today and neither was DS, I phoned him in tears, he moved mountains to rearrange all his meetings and come home to look after us both, sent me to bed and took care of DS, then made me dinner and tidied the house.

I feel better now

flowerytaleofNewYork · 12/12/2007 22:01

Oh, and he thought of my new Christmassy nickname as well

Eliza2 · 12/12/2007 22:02

He has supported me financially and emotionally for years while I worked to get my first novel published. Now he's marketing it like mad to his friends and workmates.

susue · 12/12/2007 22:03

We are one, I am so lucky to have him in my life.

offersinwot · 12/12/2007 22:03

He puts up with me when I roar.
Says sorry and means it.
Hugs me when I'm at breaking point.
Gets mad too so I don't feel a failure.
Looks at me as though I'm a super model.
He's an ironing 'GOD'
Isn't always perfect but I love him because he admits it.
We laugh when we get into tizzies!
He's there for me and I love him for it.
Love really is having children; because I never knew how much I needed to love and be loved, in order to cope with everything thrown our way!
And he's excellent...........Hmmm

neighbour · 12/12/2007 22:05

He's a saint.

Minum · 12/12/2007 22:09

When I hear his key in the door in the evening my heart leaps

CliffRichardSucksEggsinHell · 12/12/2007 22:34

Mine leaps when I hear him going out the door.

lucyellensmum · 12/12/2007 23:07

mine is still with me after 2 years of PND and me treating him like shit.

He is a fantastic daddy and he idolises his DD.

Our DD is in love with him, her eyes light up when he comes in the room.

He STILL puts up with my shit and doesnt mind that i phone and text him ten million times a day.

He is an eternal optomist.

He can read my mind.

He is VERY sexy, and still turns me on after 15 years.

pukkapatch · 12/12/2007 23:34

he pays the mortgae, and the bills. and is considering sending ds1 to private school, even thoughhe is anti private education.

lucyellensmum · 12/12/2007 23:41

my DP works like a slave

He is the most talented carpenter and can make anything out of wood, from his head. He never fails to amaze me.

unknownrebelbang · 12/12/2007 23:50

He's got me as his wife.

DanaScully · 12/12/2007 23:50

He has lovely red hair.. God I LOVE a ginger!

dingdongdooneygirlonhigh · 12/12/2007 23:52

He has made me more empathetic to other people, because he is such a good person and tries to do what is right. I want to be a better person because of him. I know he thinks of others 99% of the time, and the other 1% of the time he is being selfish usually involves ice cream.

The only thing he does better than being a husband is being a father. I will never cease to be amazed that my kids won the jackpot in the father department.

choosyfloosy · 12/12/2007 23:52

My dh does 23 hours of childcare a week and cooks 4 times a week, to allow ME to do what I want to in life.

And says he enjoys it.

He also never, ever gets annoyed about me losing stuff. And any of my exes would tell you that is absolutely impossible to achieve (in the last 10 weeks I've lost 2 bike helmets, 1 reflective jacket, 1 essential work folder, 1 debit card plus enormous amounts of stuff that turned up later).

AandMsmum · 12/12/2007 23:53

He is amazing with our dd's and spent last night combing bratz dolls hair for my eldest (she said he did a lovely job). I love him!

maximummummy · 13/12/2007 00:00

my dp puts up with me and i'm annoying

slim22 · 13/12/2007 00:09

Don't know where to start......
All I can say is if you'd asked me to list what I don't like, I could not find annything to put on the list.

macwoozy · 13/12/2007 00:38

He makes me jam and toast every Sunday with only minor grumbling, and on good days he will even defrost my car windows.
