Apparently Yates isn't starting for a while and I'm going out now. Just seen a bit on tv - can't believe how close the spectators get - is that normal? Surely it must be really distracting?

I'd learned a bit ago that it's best to load all your velo coins on 2-3 points earners and fill up the space with the lower price ones where you have to. And avoid lead out riders as they pick up little in the final shake of a sprint.

This is all obv key to my enduring velogames success.

Do we know if Roglic has sufficient support team to defend the rosa for more than a few stages? When it gets lumpy he will need a lot of maintaining, a la Froome et al.

I don’t think any of the GC contenders have exceptional team support (in comparison to sky at the tour for example) - so it’ll all come down to their own form, plus a fair amount of luck. That’s why I enjoy the Giro and Vuelta so much.
I hope that Rodlic can hold onto the lead, he’s in good form and he’s an exciting rider (and he’s in my team!). I’m JessFD on velogames btw, not the same name as on here.
