Oh, good to hear from someone who's been to the Backstage Bar thing. Was it terribly dressy?

AlbusPercivalWulfricBrianSun · 03/08/2007 10:46

He played at the Aftershow after the Hammersmith shows a few years ago and I have read somewhere that it's something he does regularly. Cammelia I wish he played the whole of Let's Go Crazy.

Cammelia · 03/08/2007 11:17

Olivia, the info was on a letter I received with my tickets.

NQC, people who were at the VIP reception had dressed up a bit, but not over the top

Ok, well, I'm planning a sleeveless silk dress with stars all over the skirt. It should be fine, it is pretty dressy. I'm not wearing heels, though, as I'm not comfortable in them.

oranges · 03/08/2007 12:30

i got tickets last night for this saturday too! Can't wait.

oranges · 03/08/2007 12:36

can someone please tell me? it says doors open at 6, but does anything happen till 7.30. i don't think i've bought the pre party tickets, and don't want to hang around for ages -i'd rather have a drink elsewhere first.

NotQuiteCockney · 03/08/2007 13:06

If you have pre-party tickets, you'll have a letter about it and a note about where to go etc etc. If you don't have these things, I don't think there's any point to getting there at 6pm.

NotQuiteCockney · 03/08/2007 13:06

Oh, there are restaurants and bars on site, I guess that might be the point? Bit strange, though, really.

oranges · 03/08/2007 13:07

okay, i don't have a letter, just the tickets. dh is working the next day so we can't make it a massive night. thanks.

AlbusPercivalWulfricBrianSun · 03/08/2007 13:15

Yes there are loads of barsand restaurants and a beach. I think it's open all the time as some of my friends have been down with their DCs during the day. Doors at 6 probably means doors to the arena.

Cammelia · 03/08/2007 13:49

You are right about the doors. There are loads of bars/eaterie places but they all had massive q's in them.

NQC that sounds like nice dress, I wore a silk skirt with a black silk sleeveless top and (not very high) black heels

Oh NQC a word of advice: if your letter re the pre show party says entrance H, go to the very right hand side of the Entrance H doors right near the giant H.
