deep blue sea was an absolute waste of time
A.I was pretty dire too

southeastastra · 01/08/2007 09:35

i watched some lopez thing the wedding planner?

mummydoit · 01/08/2007 09:36

Agree with Matrix. Just didn't get that one at all. Also Saving Private Ryan. Didn't find even one minute of that enjoyable.

northender · 01/08/2007 09:37

Lost in translation-it really was in my case!

Mindles · 01/08/2007 09:37

Spirited Away. Stupidly I watched it twice, second time I thought, it can't honestly be as bad as I remember. It was worse.

aDad · 01/08/2007 09:38

A.I. was 100% terrible

SeamonstEr · 01/08/2007 09:39

Dungeons and Dragons

dear god... I fell asleep half way through.

welshmum · 01/08/2007 09:41

Vanilla Sky
What a pile of self regarding nonsense

CatIsSleepy · 01/08/2007 09:42

think I sat through some of Notting Hill once, I have no idea why and don't intend to again.

LA Confidential, seen it twice but still no idea what was going on (I think I fell asleep a few times on both occasions though, which probably didn't help...)

FlameParakeet · 01/08/2007 09:42

Oh I had managed to block Vanilla Sky from my memory!

Katy44 · 01/08/2007 09:43

we saw "Legend of Hell House" or something like that recently
Absolute rubbish, apart from a hilarious scene with a killer cat - worth watching just for that

misspiggy · 01/08/2007 09:43

From my dim and distant youth, Absolute Beginners - the only film I've ever walked out of.

There are so many howlers that I've seen with the DSs but Thomas and the Magic Railroad is right up there at the top of the list. I also vaguely remember one of the Batman films that seemed to go on for days.....and days.....and days....

speedymama · 01/08/2007 09:44

Natural Born Killers. Absolute garbabe. I so desperately wanted to walk out of the cinema.

Out of Sight with J-Lo and George Clooney. What a pile of poo - everybody made such a fuss about how great it was - it was pure drivel!

Katy44 · 01/08/2007 09:44

Deep Blue Sea was a waste of time I agree, but the scene where he was making the big impressive emotional speech only to be eaten half way through it was so funny!
(Sorry if that's spoilt it for anyone but you didn't come on this thread for recommendations, did you??)

OhNo40 · 01/08/2007 09:44

A I - dire.
Matris 3 - I hadn't seen 1 or 2 which didn't help but I was totally lost.
Dim Sum - a Chinese film in the 1980s which consisted of a lot of shots of the family's shoes.
Some buddy movie about two americans going on a tour of the Napa Valley or another US wine region. Didn't get to the end of that.

bagsundereyes · 01/08/2007 09:44

northender - i watched Lost in translation a second time, because everybody kept going on about how great it was, and i'd convinced myself I'd missed something first time round

It was still shite.

I'll prbably be in a minority of one, but I really could have done with the time I wasted on Citizen Kane back as well.

speedymama · 01/08/2007 09:45

garbage

mufti · 01/08/2007 09:46

ohno40 - the buddy movie sounds like "sideways", a little odd

OP posts:
CatIsSleepy · 01/08/2007 09:47

King Kong-probably the loudest film I've ever seen/heard and at least an hour too long.

MyEye · 01/08/2007 09:48

bitter moon
white hunter black heart
Tom and Viv
that Ali G movie

Trinityrhino · 01/08/2007 09:48

very true katy44, thats the only bit that I enjoyed

petunia · 01/08/2007 09:49

True Lies (fell asleep in the cinema) and just recently, The Da Vinci Code.

Pinkchampagne · 01/08/2007 09:49

Golden eye.

AlbusPercivalWulfricBrianSun · 01/08/2007 09:53

Two Moon Junction - worst worst worst film ever.

cheechymunchy · 01/08/2007 09:54

Waterworld. I stayed in the cinema out of ghoulish fascination that a film could REALLY be that bad.
