I thought it was time to move over here from Telly Addicts as we're now discussing Joseph the musical, and not Any Dream Will Do. The other thread was about to get too full anyway.

Maybe we could get a Lee wig made!

LyraBelacqua · 03/08/2007 14:54

Riss70, have you seen the clips I posted a link to a bit further down? The show looks amazing.

Berrie · 03/08/2007 16:00

Riss70 since her post has actually read our latest posts and run a mile!

binklehasflipped · 03/08/2007 20:49

Just to say that the brochure arrived today - it was part of the upgrade package but had to be sent out after press night because it was something specifically done for then and for publication purposes I guess.

Anyway its really good, minimal writing and just lots of pictures from the show and - get this - a pull out A3 size double sided poster of Lee (a la Look-in - coincidence!) one side - him with a couple of kids in the background the other behind bars in his loincloth.

I'm sooooo tempted to put it up on the inside of my wardrobe!!

Oh and thanks for the kind words about my mum, she has good days and bad days and its easier to think of it that way tbh than it being a terminal thing. At the moment she's feeling quite well and more like her old self so its all good.

oggsfrog · 04/08/2007 02:20

Hoo hoo hoo . Not long now....... Sat, Sun, Mon, then it's thighs all the way

I really am having problems with the knee high white socks.................. can't incorporate them into any fantasy, no matter how hard I try (and believe me, I am trying )

I'm feeling slightly guilty fantasising about "Thigh-Man" when you are having troubles in Real-Life....

I'm sending you my best wishes and hoping that my stupid, mouldy and 'assive interjections are amusing rather than inconsiderate...

Am rather ignoring my pater-familias???? and having to curb my enthusiasm when it comes to 'Broadband' and Lee.......Phooaarrrrrrr.....What....A....Man.... [wipes sweat off forehead]

Berrie · 04/08/2007 07:11

Oggs, fantasise away!

Binkle - if it was me I'd put it on the fridge to remind me to shape up for when Lee and I will be together... don't think that would be very poular though!

BoingBoing · 04/08/2007 09:44

God Binkle don't hide him away! Stick him on the fridge door immediately! Like Berrie, that's exactly the incentive I'd need for shifting that 2 stone that arrived from nowhere. If he's wearing the white socks, maybe you should considering shortening it slightly though

Right, off to do the washing, tidying and other boring stuff, and grab my Saturday Telegraph before all the emmets bag the lot!

oggsfrog · 06/08/2007 01:41

Please feel free to ignore this..................

Turn away now.............

I feel quite embarrassed about this..............., but, hell,.....

Whhhhooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Hoooooooooooooooooooo

It's Late Sunday.....I........Will.......Be...........In............The...........Same......Room.......as .........LEE, and his thighs,............. on Tuesday..............."" Wooh""*

Aside from all that, where are you all??????

I'm beginning to feel very paranoid...

...okay... I went on holiday, but where the buggery are you all??????????????

oggsfrog · 06/08/2007 01:59

Please ignore Oggs.

She is drunk.

She shouldn't be here.

She is suffering from "Over-Exposure of Lee", which is a lesser known, but serious, condition, caused, funnily enough, by Over-Exposure to Lee Mead, caused by access to Broadband....................

........she is experiencing an overwhelming desire to lick the thighs of said luminary, ........................ and do naughty things to his toes.......

Bugger. Oggs drunk and signing out.

Coo..... I've quite embarrassed myself here.

oggsfrog · 06/08/2007 02:24

Feck.

Please ignore all previous posts... they are shite........

Should Clive Owen come past,....... all lost and bemused... please send him in my direction....... I thankyou

Berrie · 06/08/2007 07:32

Oggs! How do you manage to be up at that time of the morning?
Tomorrow!
Tomorrow!
Tomorrow!

LyraBelacqua · 06/08/2007 08:38

Oggs. How ya feeling this morning?
I haven't been around much because the weather's been glorious (for a change) so I've been making the most of it. it's gone back to rain and cold today so no doubt I'll be MNing a bit more.

oggsfrog · 06/08/2007 09:57

Ohhhhhhhhhh, my head......

BoingBoing · 06/08/2007 10:29

But I'm confused. Where does Clive Owen fit into this? And what on earth were you drinking last night?!!!!!

Me? I spent the night cuddled up to a shit Orlando Bloom movie, but hey, any port in a storm!

binklehasflipped · 06/08/2007 10:34

oggs!!!!!!!!!!

Its really happening! Tomorrow!

It's LEEFEST!!!!

Now, I heard a rumour yesterday that Lewis is standing in for Lee for one night only, I have to say it wasnt from a particularly credible source (my dad ) but anyone else heard anything about that?

Berrie · 06/08/2007 11:00

yeah I heard he was doing it on Tuesday night...... Joke Oggs!

Berrie · 06/08/2007 11:00

How's the car Lyra?

oggsfrog · 06/08/2007 15:21

Oh Binkle .....don't be cruel

Clive Owen was on my mind 'cos I was trying to find a picture to show my Mum.... we'd watched a Johnny Depp film last night and were musing about who we fancied....

Suzywong had introduced me to this wonderful site but I couldn't remember what it was called. She very kindly came to my rescue late last night.

Last night I was drinking industrial quantities of Southern Comfort. With the odd whisky thrown in for good measure

You know those breathaliser thingys some cars have, when if they detect alcohol they won't let you start the engine??

Well I need one of them for the computer

BoingBoing · 06/08/2007 16:07

Southern Comfort Oggs . That's THE drink I cannot touch, let alone get a sniff of...ever... For much the same reason as you....way back in the mists of times and student-hood. That was a messy evening.

binklehasflipped · 06/08/2007 16:53

same here for southern comfort - even the smell brings back mortifying memories for me

Berrie · 06/08/2007 16:53

Bleurrrgh! Feeling ill just thinking about it...

oggsfrog · 07/08/2007 08:22

Woo Hoo. Today's the day

binklehasflipped · 07/08/2007 08:36

Have an unbelievably fab night tonight Oggs and say Hi to Adam if you see him!

Enjoy the moment with Lee (try and get past the long sock/slip on shoe combo!) and you'll be in a lovely soft-focus daze for the rest of the week I imagine!!

oggsfrog · 07/08/2007 08:48

I had a dream last night that we got there and I'd left the tickets behind
DD woke me up at 6.30 this morning singing Go Go Go Joseph

binklehasflipped · 07/08/2007 08:51

ha - ticket anxiety! thought that only happened when flying

Even I feel all buzzy just thinking of you arriving under that neon Joseph sign tonight!! - and your DD is going love every minute!
