We've been! Absolutely amazing. If we weren't broke I'd be planning another trip asap. £89 seats very good - row J in Royal Circle. Any Royal circle seats would have been fab. You don't have to see top of the stage for anything unlike Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Brilliant atmosphere. Standing ovation, of course. Lots of cheers for the favourite songs. The audiences can't have had time/opportunity/tickets/money to go lots of times so I assume everyone knows the music in advance. Lots in their early twenties, I would say.
The ticketing was very smooth, thanks bruffin. No need to get there 1 hour before, as email says, unless you want to be at the head of the merchandising queue. 45 minutes is fine, even with buying merchandising (which is downstairs - head towards stalls when you come in, down a few stairs, turn right, and go down more stairs and join a queue - lots of staff standing around to direct you). There were one or two things they had sold out of, can't remember what now. Anyone going, have fun. The British (newcomer) playing Hamilton is just brilliant, I love his voice, and the guy playing George III. I hope they bring out British cast recording soon. Enjoy!

DD and I went yesterday. I booked with priority booking on the first day it opened. Got a ticket for 30/11 but it was cancelled )and I lost money on the hotel..... ) Finally went and it was amazing. We only had cheap seats and ended up right up at the front but it was still good. DD was grinning like a maniac all the way through. She has waited so long for it - I bought the tickets for her birthday last year. It ended up being the most expensive birthday present I have ever bought her (hotels, coaches, food etc ) but without doubt the best.

Irian I feel for you losing all that money tied up with the earlier booking. That's awful. I'm glad it was all worth it in the end. We did a day trip (3 1/2 hr journey each way), to keep the costs down, but definitely worth it. It was a really special outing for us as a family, especially as we're a mixed race marriage/family, and my husband was an immigrant.

good to see Hamilton in the UKand to better reviews (at least in the NY Times) than the original US production! The music has penetrated the high schools in America. Check out my old school choir's Hamilton medley (from Ohio)

Tomorrow is the day!

I’m gonna be in the room where it happens.

Ah, here's a good place to ask my Hamilton question... I want to go for my 40th, which isn't until Sep 2019. Will it still be on do people reckon? So far there are only tickets to March.

PracticalTacticalBrilliance · 09/08/2018 14:03

I can't see it closing any time soon so you should be fine - it's one of those ones that will run and run. They just release the tickets in batches. I'd imagine the new booking period won't be that far away.

Alakazam7 · 10/09/2018 12:07

Going on Sat! Can’t wait- booked tickets over a year ago!

LloydColeandtheCoconuts · 15/02/2019 13:23

New booking period of Hamilton is OPEN!!! I bought my tickets at £37.50. Which is a bargain as I actually considered paying £200 earlier this year! I was planning on feeding kids porridge for the rest of the year! I would have even paid £75 to sit in the stalls but my mates weren't prepared to pay that much! HmmGrinNow I just need to wait until June! I'm going to download the soundtrack now! Grin

I'm here to sing the praises of the £10 ticket lottery. Front row, and Thomas Jefferson winked at me!

MWestie · 09/03/2019 23:24

Saw it today for second time....phenomenal! When originally went last year they'd barely finished the first verse and knew had to find a way to see it again. Such a beautiful production. Also knew about the Bullet this time which is a fascinating story.
