Blue Light Card...what bargain/s have you got lately?

I was browsing Vinted looking for a long coat. Gave up because of the new weird sizing. So thought I'd look at New Look. Found a few nice coats and with 15% off code I got a new coat for £44. Plus if it doesn't fit can easily take it back. New Look is at our nearest town. I got free click and collect.

Anyone else got a bargain?

Just had dinner at Turtle Bay. 20% off, very nice.

LushLemonTart · 11/11/2025 22:16

@Kneeslikethese excellent. I'll check if we have one nearby?

I like it there. I also recently realised I can get blue light discount at morrisons cafe which is handy if I want lunch when I'm at work.

Coasted · 11/11/2025 22:57

I got 20% off food at wagamama recently 🙂

jelllyontheplate · 11/11/2025 23:00

I've just let mine go it's not as good as it used to be!

TartanMammy · 11/11/2025 23:22

JD offer boost of 20% off is always good as both ds get a lot from there.

Ds also got 10% off at American golf on a set of clubs worth over £1k so the saving was significant.

20% of full bill at Bills. their breakfasts are great. I don’t do much shopping so don’t use it that often but i’m keeping my eye out on the app just for Christmas really

Stephenkingsbiggestfan · 12/11/2025 08:04

Fat face often have a discount in store (there’s a board behind the till when it’s running). It quite often isn’t on the app but at 20% it’s well worth having.

Starbucks - 10% off saves me a fortune.

Anytime Fitness £4 off a monthly subscription. So £35 per month instead of £39.

This is a biggie ... got a few thousand off a new car last year. All sorts of different car manufacturers offer discounts with a blue light card.

familyissues12345 · 12/11/2025 08:10

20% off at Wagamamas

We’re booking a cruise soon and I’m hoping they’ll still do their extra on board spending with BLC

Gingernessy · 12/11/2025 08:16

Any good tips for where to access discounts for those not entitled to blue light cards?
Many private sector workers get nothing from their employers and are on minimum wage to boot.
Tried a couple of Google search websites but even they seem to favour the public sector.
Find it all very strange since without a thriving private sector there's no money for the public sector at all - as I'm afraid we might find out on 26th Nov.

It is and I don't think everyone realises the Blue Light card can be used for that purpose. We didn't and were haggling hard to get discounts then suddenly thought of the Blue Light card, looked it up and found we could get a better discount through that than any other way.
